Kollywood’s lead director P.Vasu has directed the horror-comedy movie Chandramukhi with super star Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Nayanthara, Jyothika in lead roles and the movie was a super hit block buster those days. Later the director tasted huge failure with Kuselan and now he stays out of Tamil cinema.
Right now P.Vasu is directing movies in Telugu and Kannadam languages. He directed Malayalam super hit movie Drishyam in Kannada. Ravichandran and Navya Nair did lead roles in Kannada version. He also directed Shivalinga with Sivaraj Kumar and Vedhika and that was also a super hit movie in Kannada.
The director has decided to step back in Tamil and he has decided to remake Kannada movie Shivalinga in Tamil. He chose Raghava Lawrence and Anushka Shetty to play lead roles and he decided to name the movie as Chandramukhi 2. As Raghava Lawrence is verge of completing Motta Siva Ketta Siva, he is expected to sign the dotted line.
