Amala Paul to bankroll her first project in Malayalam

Amala Paul the most controversial actress in the south film industry is set to take a new avatar in the film industry as a producer. The actress is said to have completed her part in her next movie Adho Andha Paravai pola, directed by filmmaker Vinoth K. R. Currently the actress is busy shooting for her next film Aadai. The film is said to be in the final schedule of the shoot and is expected to go in to the post production stage soon.

Guys! I can't even! Big things coming up. Are you ready? My first movie as producer will hit the silver screens later this year. It's even more special because I'm joining hands with my manager Pradeep and friend Ajay Panickar as the co-producer. In the movie CADAVER, I play a Forensic Pathologist and the role involves lots of new things that I haven't witnessed or heard of before. With my recent choice of movies, like Aadai and Adho Andha Paravai Pola, I'm most definitely exploring new avenues and spearheading my way into unchartered waters. After completing the shoot of Aadai, the actress will be gearing up to star in a Malayalam movie. The film is titled as Cadaver, meaning a corpse, and is directed by Anoop Panicker. The story for the film is penned by Abhilash Pillai. The actress will be seen in the role of a forensic Pathologist portraying the character of Dr. Badra.

Now the interesting news is the actress is set to produce the film partnering with her manager Pradeep Kumar and Ajay Panicker. The actress is set to keep her foot on her next venture and is getting ready to debut as a produce through a film in her own acting. The actress took to her twitter account to share this news with her fans.

Sharing couple of pictures from the first day of the shoot the actress stated that this will be her first movie as a producer. After hearing the script she felt that a script like Cadaver really needs a boost and deserves the appreciation of the audience. She also stated that her production venture is a risk but a risk worth taking for a film like Cadaver.

The actress has also spoken recently about her venture as a producer. The actress has said, “Cadaver cannot be shot in low financial resources as the story demands many technical specialties. After hearing the story I felt that a film like this really needs to be supported and being an artist I chose to do it. Even my co producers felt the same as I did. At this moment I just want to thank my co producers for producing the film with me. We are really looking forward to produce more good quality films even in the future. It gives me immense pride to debut as a producer with a quality film such as Cadaver.”

On the work front, the actress is gearing up for the release of her adventure thriller film Adho Andha Paravai pola starring Ashish Vidyarthi and Samir Kochhar.
