Actress Aishwarya Rajesh is a busy artist in Tamil and Malayalam cinema industry with nearly a dozen projects in her kitty. The Kaaka Muttai actress had her last outing in the likes of the comedy drama Soppana Sundari which hit the theaters under the direction of story teller P Kinslin. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Thus, had a bad commercial business. Now, the actress has moved on, and is getting ready for the release of her next project titled Farhana. Actor Selvaraghavan will be portraying a key part in the movie. Director Nelson Venkatesan of Oru Naal Koothu and Monster fame has directed the venture. Director Nelson Venkatesan has penned the script of Farhana along with writer Sankar Dass. The entertainer which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony has been wrapped in a short period.
The post production house has now shared the teaser of the flick on social media along with its release date. Farhana is all set to hit the theaters on 12th of May this year. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh herself has unveiled the teaser. Taking to her official twitter handle, the actress dropped a poster from the film along with the link to the teaser of Farhana and wrote, “The struggle is real, but so is the strength! One-minute odd teaser cut opens to a rush of shots setting us to a bewildered state. Then we have actress Aishwarya Rajesh in a call center saying, “I heartily welcome you to the 56565 chat. Go on friend, what is your name?” Following which we witness the actress offering Namaz, “I want to give my kids a good education. They mustn’t be deprived of anything, like I was. I mustn’t be forced to take a loan. That’s why I look at this job as a gift from Allah. If we make a mistake accidentally or on purpose. Allah is always with us.” Then we have her colleague saying, “Having a woman on the other line alone would suffice. Color means take it off. Size means show me.” A petrified Aishwarya Rajesh responds, “If my family finds out, they’ll kill me.” The teaser ends with the actress mouthing, “Who are they? What do they get from it? Every bird has a limit to how high and how far they can fly. Despite that, no bird remains in its nest and stubbornly refuses to fly.”
Actress Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in a character named Farhana, a girl hailing from a Muslim family in the venture. Apart from actors Aishwarya Rajesh, and Selvaraghavan, the casting department of the movie has actors Jithan Ramesh, Anumol K Manoharan, and Aishwarya Dutta depicting various other supporting parts. Music director Justin Prabhakaran has scored music for the project. Cinematographer Gokul Benoy has shouldered camera for the flick. Editor V. J. Sabu Joseph has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the drama. Art director Siva Shankar has designed the background for the film. The movie is bankrolled by S R Prabhu along with S R Prakash Babu under the production company Dream Warrior Pictures.
On the work front, actress Aishwarya Rajesh who had her last outing in Tamil in the comedy drama Soppana Sundari is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming flick christened Mohandas crafted by director Mazhar Kamran in which she will be seen alongside actor Vishnu Vishal. The Kaaka Muttai actress is currently busy shooting for her next Tamil venture titled Manik helmed by Samrat Chakraborty in which she will be sharing screen space with actress Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, for Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga under the direction of story teller Dinesh Lakshmanan in which she will be co starring with actor Arjun Sarja, and for three of her Malayalam movies titled Pulimada scripted by director A. K. Sajan in which she will be collaborating with actor Joju George, for Ajayante Randam Moshanam filmed by storyteller Jithin Laal in which she will be collaborating with actor Tovino Thomas, and for Her directed by Anish M Thomas. Apart from these ventures, the actress has Idam Porul Yaeval scripted by film maker Seenu Ramasamy in which she has shared screen space with actors Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal, and Dhruva Natchathiram helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon in which she has romanced actor Vikram in various stages of post-production shaping up for release.
