Actress Andrea Jeremiah is an exceptionally multi-talented artist of Tamil cinema. The Pachaikili Muthucharam who began her career as a playback singer turned in to dubbing artist before becoming a successful leading lady in Tamil cinema. The actress was last seen in the action drama Vattam which hit the Disney + Hotstar OTT platform under the directorial of Kamalakannan with actor Sibi Sathyaraj in the lead. The entertainer is yet to get the attention of the audience. Now, the actress has moved on to her next movie titled Anel Meley Pani Thuli. Actor Aadhav Kannadasan has played her love interest in the flick. Debutant film maker Kaiser Anand R has helmed the movie. The entertainer which went on floors some time back is now ready for release. Anel Meley Pani Thuli will skip the theatrical release, and is slated to be streamed on Sony LIV OTT platform on 18th of November this year.
Now, the production house has unveiled the trailer of the project on social media. Actor Vijay Sethupathi has shared the trailer. The nearly two-minute trailer opens with a close up shot of actress Andrea Jeremiah saying, “Honor is more important than one’s own life. We are just confused about wherein lies the honor.” Then we see a police officer asking Andrea Jeremiah, “Can you give any identification marks?” To which she says, “I couldn’t see any of their faces.” Following it, the cop instructs someone on a call to put together a team immediately, and check the bus stands, and all the hotels and restaurants around the lake area. We see a female cop explaining to her team, “But unlike what you think, this isn’t something that can happen overnight. This whole world is favorable to men. To win against them we need to be smart.” We have actor Aadhav Kannadasan who says, “I am unable to articulate my feelings, Mathi.” The trailer ends with Andrea Jeremiah uttering, “According to me, honor does not lie in my body or the clothes I wear. It lies in the life I live.”
The unique first look poster of the film had earned the attention of cinephiles in the state. Now, the trailer has further upped the expectations on the venture. The hopes are high that the flick would be interesting to watch. Apart from actors Andrea Jeremiah, and Aadhav Kannadasan, Anel Meley Pani Thuli has actors Azhagam Perumal, Ilavarasu, and Anupama Kumar playing various other supporting roles. Music director Santhosh Narayanan has handled the musical instruments for the flick. Cinematographer R. Velraj has been behind the lens for the entertainer. Editor Raja Mohammed has edited the drama. Art director M. R. Karthik has erected the sets for the drama. The project is bankrolled by auteur Vetri Maaran under his banner house Grassroots Film Company.
On the work front, actress Andrea Jeremiah who had her last outing in Vattam is currently busy shooting for two of her next untitled projects under the direction of film makers Dinesh Selvaraj and Bobby Antony. The Aayirathil Oruvan actress is gearing up for a successive release in the likes of Pisaasu 2 directed by storyteller Mysskin, and Kaa helmed by storyteller Nanjil in which she has shared the screen place with late actor Salim Ghouse. Besides these ventures, the actress has Maaligai scripted by director Dil Sathya, and No Entry which is directed by storyteller Alagu Karthik in various stages of post-production getting shaped for release.
