Actor Arjun plays a business consultant named Deva Narayanan. Nearly two minutes trailer of Virundhu opens to a suspenseful background score to someone placing the effigy of a bull on a table. Then we have a character asking, “Who are you and in what way will you be my friend?” Following it we have the introduction of Arjun. We are then presented with a few intercuts of high-octane action blocks where the actor leaves a couple of henchmen suspended in the air. Later we learn that someone is after his life. In a shot we witness him deliver a punch with a wink, “Do I look like a human or an animal?” The trailer ends with the actor possibly asking the villain to come pick his wounded hooligans.
Virundhu will be the fourth Malayalam drama in the career of actor Arjun after Vandae Maatharam, Jack & Daniel, and Marakkar: Lion Of The Arabian Sea. The technical unit of the flick has music director Ratheesh Vega in command of the musical department. Cinematographers Ravi Chandran and Pradeep Nair have functioned in tandem to operate cameras for the film. Editor V T Sreejith has been roped in to bring coherence to the drama. Art director S A Raja has fashioned sets for the drama. The project is funded by Gireesh Neyyar under his home banner Neyyar Films.
