Arun Vijay who has been in the industry for more than two decades had not been able to score a success as a hero barring few movies like Pandavar Bhoomi but had bounced back as a villain with Gautham Vasudev Menon Directorial Thala Ajith starrer Yennai Arindhaal.
Now the actor is acting in a character named Thyagu in ace director Maniratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. He said during the audio launch of the movie that Aravind swami had helped him ease the pressure of working in such a big movie with a great director and Mani Ratnam had made him comfortable by explaining each scene with patience, and said that though he knew Simbu much before, unlike popular belief Simbu was a great character and a gentleman, while he also said Vijay Sethupathi was a very natural and jovial person and he must maintain the good character throughout his life.
Once again during a recent FM interview, the actor showered praises on STR and said the media has portrayed him in a wrong way than he was in actual life. He also explained how punctual he is and how easily he blends with other co-actors in the sets. The actor also said ‘CCV’ movie will portray the actual STR’s character both On and Off-Screen. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has him paired with Aishwarya Rajesh and releases on September 27.
