Talented star Arun Vijay revived his career with his chic antagonist role in Ajith Kumar’s Yennai Arindhaal. His second innings in Tamil cinema has been a mixed bag so far with hits and misses. The Thadaiyara Thaakka star was last seen on screens earlier this year in Mission: Chapter 1 directed by A L Vijay. The Malai Malai actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie titled Retta Thala. Story teller Kris Thirukumaran who had previously delivered projects like Maan Karate and Gethu has penciled and directed the movie. Actresses Siddhi Idnani of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu fame and Tanya Ravichandran of Rasavathi fame have depicted the female lead roles in the flick. The entertainer has entered the post production stage. An official release date for the drama is expected to be announced soon.
Actor Arun Vijay has treated Retta Thala team to a Biriyani feast on the final day of shoot. The production team has now shared a clip capturing happy moments from the feast on social media. Taking to their official X profile, the production unit dropped the clip and wrote, “On the last day of Retta Thala shoot, our hearts are filled with contentment. On the other hand, actress Siddhi Idnani will next be seen on screens in the Bollywood drama Kapkapiii directed by Sangeeth Sivan in which she will be seen alongside actors Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.
