Actor Arun Vijay had his last outing in the likes of the crime thriller drama Sinam which hit the screens under the directorial of G N R Kumaravelan with actress Pallak Lalwani in the female lead role. The drama did not live up to the expectations of the audience, and thus did a bad commercial business. Now, the actor has put that behind, and has moved on to his next project titled Borrder. Actress Regina Cassandra will be seen in the female lead part in the drama. Director Arivazhagan Venkatachalam has written and directed the movie. The entertainer which went on floors a while back was shot in Chennai, Delhi, and Agra. The project is now done and dusted, and is ready for release.
Now, the production house has shared the release date of the flick on social media. Borrder is slated to hit the theaters on 24th of February next year. Taking to their official twitter account, the production house shared a poster from the movie, and wrote, “All In Pictures’s Arun Vijay in Borrder is on a mission to conquer the audience from 24th Feb 2023. Borrder is based on military covert operations, and explores the life of a military man. Arun Vijay has essayed the part of an army officer. Apart from actors Arun Vijay, and Regina Cassandra, Borrder has actors Stefy Patel, Bagavathi Perumal, Shan Sharif Khan, and Chandrasekar Koneru in various other supporting roles. Music director Sam C S has scored the music for the entertainer. Cinematographer B Rajasekar has handled the cinematography division of the film. Editor V J Sabu Joseph has trimmed the movie. Art director Sakthee Venkatraj has erected the sets for the flick. The project is funded by Vijaya Raghavendra under the banner house All In Pictures.
On the work front, actor Arun Vijay who was last seen on screens in the crime thriller drama Sinam is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project titled Boxer helmed by Vivek in which he will be seen alongside actress Ritika Singh, and for Achcham Enbadhu Illayae under the direction of storyteller A L Vijay in which he will be sharing the screen space with actress Amy Jackson. Apart from these ventures, the actor has Agni Siragugal crafted by Naveen in which he has co starred with actress Akshara Haasan in post-production getting fine turned for release.
On the other hand, actress Regina Cassandra who had her last outing in Tamil in Mughizh is currently busy shooting for her next Tamil drama christened Soorpanagai crafted by Caarthick Raju in which she will be collaborating with actress Akshara Gowda, and for her Telugu film Mareechika directed by Satish Kasetty in which she will be co starring with actress Anupama Parameswaran. The actress will soon begin to shoot for her Tamil drama Flashback filmed by Don Sandy in which she will be seen alongside actor Prabhu Deva, and for her untitled Malayalam movie in which she will be romancing actor Suresh Gopi. Apart from these ventures, the actress has a couple of Tamil flicks Karungaapiyam helmed by Deekay in which she has shared the screen space with actresses Kajal Agarwal, Janani Iyer, and Raiza Wilson, Kallapart filmed by Rajapandi in which she has costarred with Aravind Swami, and a Hindi web drama Farzi directed by Krishna D K and Raj Nidimoru in which she has collaborated with actors Shahid Kapoor, and Raashi Khanna in various stages of post production shaping up for release.
