Talented and hard-working actor Arun Vijay is looking for a big commercial break to boot up his career in Tamil cinema. The Sinam actor was last seen on screens in Mission: Chapter 1 directed by A L Vijay. The entertainer failed to impress the audience. Now, the actor is gearing up for the release of his next movie titled Vanangaan. Auteur Bala has written and helmed the drama. Actress Roshni Prakash of Jada fame has played the female lead in the movie. The flick was wrapped in April of this year, and has been undergoing post production since.
The makers have now unveiled the trailer of Vanangaan on social media. Taking to his official X account, actor Arun Vijay shared the trailer of Vanangaan and wrote, “To capture your hearts and take you on a magical journey of Dir Bala sir’s creation. Here’s the Vanangaan trailer for you!” Here is the post made by the actor.
The trailer shows the protagonist, essayed by Arun Vijay, being sent to jail for unknown reasons. He then comes out, runs amok thrashing people for a crime they possibly committed to his sister. We do not get to witness Arun Vijay’s character talk in the entire trailer. Suggesting of either a mute or taciturn character. The trailer has a strong complexion of story teller Bala’s filmography promising a treat to his fans. Actor Arun Vijay as usual has put in a lot of work to play his part in the movie. It is evident in the trailer. The makers have not announced the release date of the flick yet. Vanangaan was launched in March of 2022 with actor Suriya and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. It was supposed to be bankrolled by Suriya under his production company 2D Entertainment. The project went on floors. But due to a dispute between Suriya and Bala during the first schedule of shoot, the actor withdrew from the flick.
Vanangaan’s cast has actors Samuthirakani, Mysskin, Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brinda Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldoss, and Munish Sivagurunath essaying various supporting roles. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has handled musical instruments for the flick. Cinematographer R B Gurudev has cranked the camera for the movie. Editor Sathish Suriya has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the entertainer. Action director Stunt Silva has choreographed action blocks. The project is funded by Suresh Kamatchi for the production label V House Productions, and Bala for his home banner B Studios.
On the professional front, Arun Vijay will soon join the sets of director Thiru Kumaran for their venture Retta Thala with actress Tanya Ravichandran as female lead. On the other hand, actress Roshni Prakash will next be seen on screens in Dhonima helmed by Jagadeesan with actor Kaali Venkat in the lead.
