Actor Arya was last seen in a cameo part in actor Vishal’s action-comedy film Madha Gaja Raja. Actor Gautham Karthik had his last outing in the historical drama August 16 1947 which hit the screens in the year 2023 under the direction of N S Ponkumar with actress Revathy Sharma as female lead. Both the actors are now gearing up for the release of their upcoming action thriller titled Mr. X. Story teller Manu Anand, who previously delivered FIR, has written and crafted the movie. He has shaped the screenplay of the film along with Divyanka Anand Shankar, Praveen K, and Raam H Puthran. Actress Anagha of Kadaisi Ulaga Por fame has depicted the female lead role in the flick. Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has portrayed a pivotal character in the drama.
The production team has now unveiled the teaser of the entertainer on social media. Taking to his official X handle, director Pa Ranjith dropped a poster from the drama along with a link to the teaser of Mr. X and wrote, “Mr X teaser looks really exciting! The visuals and concept are impressive. Wishing Arya looks Manu Anand, Prince Pictures, Gautham Karthik, Manju Warrier, Sarath Kumar, Dhibu Ninan Thomas and the whole team all the best. Two minute long teaser of Mr. X begins with a note, ‘Based on the lives and sacrifices of the heroes in the Indian secret service.’ Following it we have the voiceover of actress Manju Warrier, “Safeguarding our country is not our job. It is our duty. Our enemies have figured out the location of our lost nuclear device. If we do not secure the device, then anywhere, anytime there will be an attack in India.” A character asks her, “How are we going to stop them madam?” To which she says, “Expose. A team of spies that safeguard the nation whenever it is undergoing difficult times. Activate them. Secret agents who safeguard the nation without the nation being aware of them.” She throws in a twist by saying, “But the agents that we trusted necessarily need not be good.”
Cast of MR. X also includes actors Sarath Kumar, Raiza Wilson, Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat, and Athulyaa Ravi. Music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas has scored music for the film. Cinematographer Arul Vincent has taken care of the cinematography division of the venture. Editor G K Prasanna has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the flick. Art directors Indulal Kaveed and B Sekar have erected sets for the movie. Stunt man Stunt Silva has choreographed action moves for the drama. MR. X is produced by Shri Vineet Jain and S Lakshman Kumar in association with A Venkatesh under the banner label Prince Pictures.
On the professional front, actor Arya will soon begin to shoot for the sequel of his blockbuster flick Sarpatta Parambarai under the direction of Pa Ranjith. Apart from this venture, the Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam star has his long-delayed movies Santhana Devan helmed by Ameer Sultan in which he will be collaborating with actress Aditi Menon, and Sangamithra crafted by Sundar C in which he will be sharing screen space with actor Jayam Ravi in the shelves. On the other hand, actor Gautham Karthik is awaiting consecutive releases in Criminal scripted by Dakshina Moorthy Ramar in which he has costarred with actors Sarath Kumare & Janani, Sippai filmed by Saravanan in which he has romanced actresses Lakshmi Menon & Vibha Natarajan, and Chellappillai helmed by Arun Chandhiran.
