Actor Atharvaa Murali was last seen on screens in the action thriller Kuruthi Aattam which hit the theaters under the direction of director R. Kannan with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead role. The movie did not do well in the box office as expected. The Thalli Pogathey actor has now moved to his next project, and is currently gearing up for the release of his next drama titled Trigger. Director Sam Anton of Darling fame has written and helmed the movie. The project which went on floors some time back has finally been wrapped and is all set to hit the theaters. Recently, the production unit had announced that the movie will hit the theaters in the month of September this year.
Now, the production unit has dropped the teaser of the drama on social media. Actor Atharvaa Murali himself has shared the teaser. Taking to his official twitter handle, the actor shared the teaser of the drama with the caption, “Extremely excited to present the teaser of our film to you all! A Sam Anton directorial! The one-minute odd teaser cut opens with the kidnapping of children. We are told that nearly 20 children have been abducted. The cops seem clueless, and Atharvaa Murali comes into the picture to solve the case. Director Sam Anton and Atharvaa Murali have worked on a venture for the second time after their first-time collaboration in 100. Director P. S. Mithran has written the dialogue for the entertainer. Apart from actor Atharvaa Murali, Trigger has actress Tanya Ravichandran in the female lead part. Veteran actor Arun Pandian has returned to K town with a vital part in the project. The casting department of the flick has actors Seetha, Krishna Kumar, Munishkanth, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Aranthangi Nisha, Anbuthasan, and Chinni Jayanth, playing various other supporting roles.
Music director M Ghibran will be handling the musical instruments for the movie. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant will be behind the camera for the entertainer. Editor Anthony L Ruben has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Stunt Master Dhilip Subbarayan has designed the action blocks for the flick. The venture is produced by Prateek Chakravorty for the banner house Pramod Films and Shruti Nallappa for the production house Miracle Movies. Raahul of Romeo Pictures has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the entertainer.
On the work front, actor Atharvaa Murali who was last seen on screens in Kuruthi Aattam is currently busy shooting for his upcoming drama titled Othaikku Oththa under the directorial of story teller Barnesh in which he will be collaborating with actress Vidya Pradeep, and for Nirangal Moondru helmed by Karthick Naren in which he will be co starring with actors Rahman and Sarath Kumar. Apart from these flicks, the actor has Address scripted by director Raja Mohan, and Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu directed by film maker Raja Mohan in which he has romanced actress Pooja Jhaveri, in the post production shaping up for release.
On the other hand, actress Tanya Ravichandran who had a last outing in Maayon is currently getting ready for the release of her next project christened Agilan filmed by director N. Kalyanakrishnan in which she has shared the screen space with actors Jayam Ravi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, and for her Telugu movie Godfather directed by filmmaker Mohan Raja in which she will be seen alongside actors Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, and Nayanthara.
