Actor Atharvaa Murali was last seen on screens in Kuruthi Aattam which hit the theaters under the direction of film maker R. Kannan with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead role. The entertainer opened up to mixed reviews from the critics and audience. The Thalli Pogathey actor has now moved to his next project, and is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming venture titled Trigger. Director Sam Anton of Darling fame has helmed the drama. Actress Tanya Ravichandran will be seen in the female lead part. The project which went on floors some time back has finally been wrapped and is all set to hit the theaters. Now, we have an update on the entertainer.
The production house has announced the release month of the flick on social media. Trigger is poised to hit the theaters in the month of September this year. Raahul of Romeo Pictures has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the drama. Actor Atharvaa has shared the update along with a thank you note to actor and producer Udhayanithi Stalin. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor shared a poster from the flick and wrote, “Here we go! Trigger to hit screens in September 2022 Thank you, Udhayanithi Stalin sir for revealing this. In the poster, actor Atharvaa Murali is seen in a chic apparel sporting an eyewear. This is the second time the actor and director have come together for a film after their first association in the action thriller 100. Director P. S. Mithran has penned the dialogue for the entertainer.
Apart from actors Atharvaa Murali and Tanya Ravichandran, veteran actor Arun Pandian has played a vital part. The casting of the film has actors Seetha, Munishkanth, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Aranthangi Nisha, Chinni Jayanth, and Anbuthasan essaying various other supporting parts. The music for the venture has been composed by music director M Ghibran. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has handled the cinematography department of the flick. The editing division has been handed over to editor Anthony L Ruben. Stunt Master Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the action sequences for the flick. The project is funded by Prateek Chakravorty for the production house Pramod Films and Shruti Nallappa for the banner house Miracle Movies.
On the work front, actor Atharvaa Murali who had a last outing in Kuruthi Aattam is currently busy shooting for his upcoming venture christened Othaikku Oththa directed by Barnesh in which he will be seen alongside actress Vidya Pradeep, and for Nirangal Moondru scripted by Karthick Naren in which he will be sharing the screen space with actors Rahman and Sarath Kumar. Besides these movies, the actor has Address directed by Raja Mohan, and Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu filmed by storyteller Raja Mohan in which he has co starred with actress Pooja Jhaveri, in the post production getting tuned for release.
On the other hand, actress Tanya Ravichandran who was last seen on screens in Maayon is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming drama titled Agilan directed by N. Kalyanakrishnan in which she will be seen alongside actors Jayam Ravi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, and for her Telugu movie Godfather helmed by storyteller Mohan Raja in which she will be collaborating with actors Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, and Nayanthara.
