Actor Atharvaa Murali was last seen in the mass action entertainer Kuruthi Aattam which hit the screens under the making of film maker R. Kannan with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. The movie was bestowed with mixed reviews from the critics and audience, and as a result it did not do well commercially. However, the Thalli Pogathey actor has now put that behind, and is currently gearing up for the release of his next project christened Trigger. Director Sam Anton of Darling fame has directed the flick. The drama which went on floors some time back has finally been wrapped and is all set to hit the theaters on 23rd of this month.
Now, the production house has dropped the trailer of the movie on social media. Actor Atharvaa has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor shared the trailer and wrote, “Extremely excited in presenting the trailer of our film Trigger. In theaters from 29.09.2022.” Here is the trailer shared by the actor.
The two minutes odd video opens with a chasing scene covered from a bird’s eye view. We hear a cop offering instructions in the walky-talky, “A child was kidnapped from Madras mall in Vadapalani. Police beat nearby rush to the spot.” Then we are given glimpses of actor Atharvaa performing high octane stunt sequences. Trigger is about the abduction of children by a gang of unidentified men, and the hero’s effort to solve the case. Director P. S. Mithran has teamed up with actor Atharvaa Murali for the second time after 100. Both of them would be looking to set the record straight this time around.
Apart from actor Atharvaa Murali, trigger has actress Tanya Ravichandran in the female lead role. Veteran actor Arun Pandian has essayed a key role. The casting department of the movie has actors Seetha, Munishkanth, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Aranthangi Nisha, Chinni Jayanth, and Anbuthasan playing various other supporting roles. Music director M Ghibran has composed the music for the flick. Cinematographer Krishnan Vasant has shouldered the camera for the entertainer. Editor Anthony L Ruben has taken care of the editing division of the drama. Master Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the action sequences for the film. The venture is produced by Prateek Chakravorty for the banner house Pramod Films and Shruti Nallappa for the production house Miracle Movies. Raahul of Romeo Pictures has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the drama.
On the work front, actor Atharvaa Murali who was last seen on screens in Kuruthi Aattam is currently busy shooting for his next venture titled Othaikku Oththa under the direction of story teller Barnesh in which he will be collaborating with actress Vidya Pradeep, and for Nirangal Moondru filmed by director Karthick Naren in which he will be co starring with actors Rahman and Sarath Kumar. Apart from these projects, the actor has Address helmed by film maker Raja Mohan, and Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu scripted by director Raja Mohan in which he has associated with actress Pooja Jhaveri, in various stages of post-production getting fine tuned for release.
On the other hand, actress Tanya Ravichandran who had a last outing in Maayon is currently getting ready for the release of her next project titled Agilan helmed by storyteller N. Kalyanakrishnan in which she has shared the screen space with actors Jayam Ravi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, and for her Telugu venture christened Godfather directed by filmmaker Mohan Raja in which she will be seen alongside actors Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, and Nayanthara.
