After Sivakarthikeyan, actor Kavin Raj’s accretion to new heights with every film is quite promising and a ray of hope for many aspiring artists in Tamil cinema. The actor who set foot in the industry by essaying uncredited roles bagged a supporting character in Vikram Prabhu’s Sathriyan. Fortunately, the stars aligned well for the star and he turned a lead hero in Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma directed by Shiva Aravind. The Dada star had a release earlier this year in Star crafted by Elan with actress Aaditi Pohankar in the female lead role. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews but had a good run in the box office. The Lift actor will soon be seen on screens in his upcoming flick Bloody Beggar. Debutant director Sivabalan Muthukumar, former assistant of Nelson Dilipkumar has penned and directed the movie. It is officially announced that Bloody Beggar will be out in theaters this year on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, October 31st.
The production unit has now released a special Beggar peek clip from the movie on social media. Taking to their official X profile, the production team dropped the special Beggar peek video from Bloody Beggar and worded, “Beggars can’t be choosers, but they can bust some moves. One-minute odd Beggar peek opens to actor Kavin as a beggar seeking alms in a traffic signal to an auto driver who says, “Hey! As it is, I am annoyed that I have not had a ride since this morning.” In a gloomy demeanor he responds, “If I had legs, I would have ridden auto, too, for a living.” Touched by this, the auto driver offers him a few pennies. A funeral procession with a band playing passed by. Kavin moves towards it on wheels, and begins to dance for it. Bloody Beggar is set to clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran crafted by story teller Rajkumar Periasamy, and Jayam Ravi’s Brother filmed by M Rajesh in the box office.
Star cast of Bloody Beggar includes actors Redin Kingsley, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, T M Karthik, Miss Saleema, Maruthi Prakashraj, Dhivya Vikram, Sunil Sukadha, Mohammed Bilal, Rohit Denis, Vidyuth Ravi, Arshad, Akshaya Hariharan, Padam Venu Kumar, Anarkali Nazar, Tanuja Madhurapantula, and Vishav Raaj. Music director Jen Martin will be handling musical instruments for the venture. The makers have released a number named ‘Naan Yaar’ from the album. Sujith Sarang has been trusted with the cinematography division of the entertainer. Editor Nirmal has been roped in to bring coherence to the flick. Art director Manimozhian Ramadurai has designed the background for the drama. Stunt masters Metro Mahesh and Action Sandhosh have choreographed action blocks. Bloody Beggar is backed by director Nelson Dilipkumar under his newly launched production company Filament Pictures.
On the work front, currently actor Kavin Raj is occupied in his next projects Kiss filmed by director Sathish in which he will be seen alongside actress Preethi Asrani, Mask scripted by Vikarnan Ashok in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Andrea Jeremiah, and an untitled film helmed by storyteller Vishnu Edavan in which he will be starring with actress Nayanthara for the first time in his career.
