Bharath’s Once Upon A Time In Madras Trailer: Lives Of Various Characters Intertwined By Destiny!

Actor Bharath who stormed into Tamil cinema with a controversial part in Boys, won the hearts of audiences with his impressive performances in Kaadhal, Em Magan, Pattiyal, Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, and Veyil. The Kadaisi Bench Karthi star was last seen on screens in Ippadiku Kadhal directed by Bharath Mohan with actress Janani as female lead. He will soon have his next release in the hyperlink thriller flick christened Once Upon A Time In Madras. Story teller Prasadh Murugan has penned and crafted the entertainer. Actress Pavithra Lakshmi, who rose to fame with her stint in Cooku With Comali has depicted the female lead part in the film. Veteran actress Abirami has essayed a key role. 

The production house had released the teaser of the movie earlier this year. Now they have launched the trailer of the flick on social media. Taking to his official X handle, actor Arun Vijay unveiled a poster from the drama along with a link to the trailer of Once Upon A Time In Madras and wrote, “All the best Barry Bharath. A twisted web of secrets. The trailer’s out now! OTM. Once Upon A Time In Madras.” Here is the post made by the star. 

Nearly two minute trailer begins with a woman asking the character played by Abirami, “It is difficult for people like us to study in the first place. But how could you afford a MBBS degree.” The shot cuts to Abirami, who is employed as a sanitary worker telling her daughter, “Just keep in mind, if you are going to work, it should only be a doctor’s job.” We are then introduced to Bharath who promises his dear one in the hospital that he will not let her go anywhere. Earlier talking to a popular news daily about why he picked the film actor Bharath revealed, “I chose Once Upon A Time In Madras for the similar reasons I picked Pattiyal and Em Magan. It has a striking element to it. I agreed to play my role right away after listening to my segment.” Speaking about the project, actress Abirami disclosed, “Once Upon A Time In Madras” threads on various factors like crime, action, politics, and a range of emotions. The film has also got its representations right by casting a proper trans person to play a key trans person character instead of opting to cast a male.”

Besides actors Bharath, Abirami, and Pavithra Lakshmi, the cast of Once Upon A Time In Madras also features actors Shaan, Thalaivasal Vijay, PGS, Anjali Nair, Rajaji, Syed, Sini, and Kalki. The musical division of the flick has been handled by musician Jose Franklin. Cinematographers K S Kalidoss and R Kannan have been behind camera for the entertainer. Editor San Lokesh has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the venture. Stunt master Sugan has fashioned action moves for the flick. Art director V K Natarajan has erected sets. Once Upon A Time In Madras is backed by Captain MP Anand partnering with Bala, Haroon, and PGS under the production company Friday Film Factory. 

On the work front, actor Bharath is currently in the sets of director Sri Senthil shooting for the sequel of their hit project Kaalidas in which he will be seen alongside actor Ajay Karthi.
