Malayalam heart-throb Dulquer Salmaan had made his Tamil debut with Vaayai moodi pesavum directed by Balaji Mohan, 5 years back, and the actor had been time and again trying his hands at starring in Tamil movies and win the hearts of Tamil audience. Though he tasted success with the 2015 hit romantic entertainer Ok Kanmani directed by ace director Mani Ratnam, he’s yet to establish himself as a saleable, marketable commercial hero here, and now, he’s starring in multiple Tamil movies.
He’s acting in the direction of debutants Ra.Karthik and Desingh Periyasamy in the movies Vaan costarring Nivetha Pethuraj and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal co-starring Ritu Varma respectively, and is hoping to make an impact with these two movies in unique genres.
Recently Dulquer had made a good impact playing yesteryear legendary Tamil hero Gemini Ganesan in the Biopic of actress Savithri, Mahanati, and had also made his Bollywood debut last week with Karwaan. Let’s see if Dulquer Salmaan can create market for himself in Kollywood.
