Actor Dhanush had a good last outing with his Hollywood drama The Gray Man directed by Christopher Markus and Joe Russo in which he had co-starred with actors Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas. The entertainer was launched on the Netflix OTT platform a few weeks back and since then has been clocking views. After his successful tour in the world cinema, the Maari actor has returned to Tamil cinema. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his next romantic comedy titled Thiruchitrambalam. Film maker Mithran Jawahar who has directed actor Dhanush previously in Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiren has directed the flick. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, and Nithya Menon are playing the female leads in the drama. The movie has been shaping up in full swing in the post production.
Now, the production house has shared the trailer of the drama on social media. The actor himself has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter account the actor shared the trailer of the movie and wrote, “A glimpse into Pazham’s life. Thiruchitrambalam trailer out now.” Here is the trailer shared by the actor.
The couple of minutes cut, opens with a character addressing actor Dhanush as Pazham, who works as a food delivery agent. Then the actor himself introduces his character saying, “I lead a simple life. On weekdays I work from nine to six. During the weekend, I watch movies, TV, and Netflix. An ordinary life.” The scene cuts to actor Bharathiraja, who comes as his grandfather, in a phone call telling him to get four bottles of beer on his way back to home from work. The trailer is fun filled with actress Nithya Menon playing his childhood bestie, and the duo together gives us some serious friendship goals. Thiruchitrambalam is slated to hit the theaters on 18th of this month.
Apart from actors Dhanush, Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menon, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, the casting department of the entertainer has veteran actors Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja essaying vital supporting roles. The music for the entertainer is composed by musician Anirudh Ravichander. Actor Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander are joining hands nearly after a period of five years. Apparently, expectations are high on the music album. Cinematographer Om Prakash has been behind the camera for the movie. The editing department of the flick has been handed over to editor Prasanna G. K. The project is produced by Kalanithi Maran for the banner house Sun Pictures.
On the work front, actor Dhanush who was last seen on screens in a supporting role in the Hollywood drama The Gray Man is currently busy shooting for his upcoming Tamil Telugu bilingual project titled Vaathi under the directorial of film maker Venky Atluri in which he will be seen alongside actress Samyuktha Menon. The actor will soon begin shooting for his next venture christened Captain Miller which is set to be directed by story teller Arun Matheswaran, for a movie tentatively titled D 46 which will be helmed by director Sekhar Kammula, and for the sequel of the Hollywood flick The Gray Man directed by Christopher Markus and Joe Russo in which he will be sharing the screen space with actors Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas. Besides these movies, the actor has Naane Varuven filmed by director Selva Selvaraghavan getting shaped in the post production for release.
