Actor Harish Kalyan graced the silver screen lastly in the sports movie Lubber Pandhu helmed by director Tamizharasan Pachamuthu with actors Gethu Dinesh, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, and Swasika in the lead roles. The venture was pinned with positive reviews by critics and put on a spectacular collection show. The Pyaar Prema Kaadhal star is now eagerly awaiting the release of his next entertainer christened Diesel. Director Shanmugam Muthusamy, who is known for dramas such as Adangathey and Puranagaram, has written and directed the venture. Actress Athulya Ravi of Yen Peyar Anandhan fame has been paired against the actor in the movie. Actor Vinay Rai will be seen in a negative role in the project. An official release date for the drama is expected to be announced soon.
Earlier we had reported that actor Silambarasan will be lending his voice for a peppy number ‘Dillubaru Aaja’ in the film. Now the makers have released the track on social media. Taking to his official X profile, actor Harish Kalyan dropped a snap from the song ‘Dillubaru Aaja’ along with a link to it and wrote, “Dillubaru Aaja from Diesel will always be a special song for me. Majavaa vibe panunga ellarum. Silambarasan na your support means everything, love you. Dhibu Ninan Thomas loves you brother for giving us this. Huge thanks to the incredible dancers, especially our senior artists and little stars for giving it your all. Shobi Master, your belief in me made me feel unstoppable . . . love you & thanks master! Silambarasan has sung the number along with singer Shweta Mohan. Lyricists Rokesh and GKB have penned lyrics for the song. The number is mixed by Balu Thankachan and mastered by Shadab Rayeen. Dance master Shobi has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas of Kombu Vatcha Singamda fame has scored music for the entertainer. The first single of the album named ‘Beer Song’ which was launched last year went on to be a chartbuster with many social media influencers singing and dancing to it. Even ‘Dillubaru Aaja’ has had a similar reaction.
Besides Harish Kalyan, Athulya Ravi, and Vinay Rai, the casting crew of the flick also has actors Ananya, Vivek Prasanna, Sai Kumar, Thangadurai, Sachin Kedhekar, Zakir Husain, KPY Dheena, and Karunaas in various supporting characters. Cinematographers Richard M Nathan and M S Prabhu have collaborated to capture the film. Editor San Lokesh has been brought on board to chop and patch the movie. Art director Rembon Balraj has engineered sets for the flick. Stunt masters Stunt Selva and Rajasekhar have fashioned action moves. The film is produced by Devarajulu Markandeyan for the production house Third Eye Entertainment partnering with SP Sankar under the production banner SP Cinemas.
On the work front, actor Harish Kalyan is also gearing up for the release of his upcoming romantic film Nooru Kodi Vaanavil directed by story teller Sasi in which he has collaborated with actress Siddhi Idnani. On the other hand, actress Athulya Ravi will soon be seen on screens in her next comedy heist project Chennai City Gangsters filmed by Arun Keshav in which she has featured alongside actor Vaibhav.
