Actor Arjun Das shot to fame overnight thanks to his supporting role as ‘Anbu Das’ in Karthi’s Kaithi. The Por actor lastly graced the silver screen in the romantic thriller film Rasavathi crafted by storyteller Santha Kumar with actress Tanya Ravichandran in the female lead part. The Master actor is now getting ready for the release of his next romantic entertainer titled Once More. Debutant Vignesh Srikanth, who previously wrote dialogues for Por, has inked and helmed the project. Actress Aditi Shankar has been paired with the star in the venture. The post-production works for the film are happening in full swing.
The production unit had dropped the first single from the movie earlier this year on social media. They have now shared the second track from the album. Taking to their official X account, the production team of Million Dollar Studios dropped a special poster from the song along with a link to the video song of ‘Edhira Pudhira’ from Once More and wrote, “Poles apart yet tugged together in hearts. The mystery, magic and melody of a first date is here. “Edhira Pudhira” – Video Song from Once More is out now!! Vocals – D Sathyaprakash. Written & directed by Vignesh Srikanth. Singer D Sathyaprakash has crooned the number. Story teller Vignesh Srikanth has penned lyrics for the track. Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed music for the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Harishankar. Once More is the title of actor Vijay’s 1997 classic of the same name. Earlier speaking about the entertainer to a leading media, Vignesh Srikanth said, “My debut venture will be a wholesome breezy romance film. It revolves around Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar who fall in love with each other. The interesting aspect is that they both have a contrasting personality. Not just the two of them, even their family members and friends. How they navigate their differences is what forms the crux of the story.”
Talking further he revealed, “It will be in the lines of Mani Ratnam sir’s O Kadhal Kanmani. I have tried to capture the difficulties and complexities in today’s relationships. Also, the magical moments that only transpire when two polar-opposite personalities fall in love.” Casting crew of Once More also includes actors Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Khushbu Sundar, Shiv Panditt, Kalki Koechlin, and George Kora. Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor Nash has been roped in to edit the project. Art director Raj Kamal has erected sets for the venture. Once More is produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan under the production banner Million Dollar Studios partnering with V R Vamsi under the production label FYNTEMAX.
On the work front, actor Arjun Das will next have successive releases in Good Bad Ugly filmed by Adhik Ravichandran in which he will be seen alongside actors Ajith Kumar & Trisha Krishnan, and a Telugu action thriller They Call Him OG crafted by Sujeeth in which he has associated with actors Pawan Kalyan and Priyanka Mohan. The Aneethi actor is presently engaged in his next entertainers Bomb directed by Vishal Venkat in which he will be romancing actress Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Kaithi 2 helmed by director Lokesh Kanagaraj in which he will be sharing screen space with actor Karthi. On the other hand, actress Aditi Shankar will soon make her debut in Telugu cinema this year with her action flick Bhairavam directed by Vijay Kanakamedala in which she has performed alongside actors Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj Kumar, and Anandhi.
