First of all one must realize that making of a movie gets into three phases, Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production. The budget announced by LYCA for ‘2.O’ is just for Pre-production and Production.
Earlier the creative head, Raju Mahalingam said the budget is estimated to be 350 Crores. It has to be noted that this budget is only for the production cost for the movie, so when we bring the post-production and marketing, the cost is expected to raise two times.

The movie was expected to have two female leads. But the makers confirmed that there will be only female lead right now. An inside source also said that Akshay Kumar was roped inside the movie at the last minute. Shankar earlier denied rumours regarding inclusion of Aamir Khan and other actors.

This movie is going to cross 500 crores. That means its a 600 crore movie.. within an approximation. ..so undoubtedly its a 600 crores movie , 2.o.?… Asia’s costliest film
