Actor Natarajan Subramaniam previously entertained audiences in the crime thriller Seesaw directed by Guna Subramaniam with actress Padine Kumar in the female lead role. Actor Srikanth had his last outing in the comedy flick Dinasari directed by G Sankar. Now both the stars are gearing up for the release of their next movie titled Sambavam. Story teller P Ranjithkumar, who is known for the horror thriller Pei Irukka Illaya, has penned and directed the drama. Actress Chandini Tamilarasan of Naan Avalai Sandhitha Pothu fame has played the female lead role in the movie. The post production works for the venture are underway in full swing. The makers are planning to bring the film to theaters in the summer of 2025.

Apart from Srikanth, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Chandini Tamilarasan, the casting unit of the movie also has political reporter and actor R Rangaraj Pandey, Sumeeta Bajaj, V Jayaprakash, Singampuli, A Venkatesh, Dinesh Kumar, Mullai Kothandam, Nanjil Sampath, Radha, and K Rajan portraying various supporting characters. Music composer Sundar C Babu will be overseeing the musical division of the entertainer. Cinematographer Iniyan J Harris has handled the cinematography department of the movie. Editor G Chandrakumar has been brought on board to bring coherence to the entertainer. Action director Rajasekar has choreographed action blocks for the flick. Art director P Palanivel has designed the background for the venture. The project is funded by John Max and Jesygaa for the production company Shalom Studios. JKD Vikram will be presenting the project under the banner JKD Movies.
On the professional front, actor Natarajan Subramaniam is eagerly looking forward to the release of his next drama titled Niram Marum Ulagil filmed by J B Britto in which he will be seen alongside actors Rio Raj, Bharathiraja, and Sandy Master. The Sathuranga Vettai actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project tentatively christened Suriya 45 directed by storyteller RJ Balaji in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Suriya, Trisha Krishnan, and Sshivada. On the other hand, actor Srikanth will soon have a release in Telugu via Erracheera scripted by storyteller Suman Babu in which he has co starred with actors Kamal Kamaraju, Karunya Chowdary, and Sanjana Shetty.
