Actor Sibi Sathyaraj who began his journey in Tamil cinema in the year 2003 with the coming-of-age action film Student Number 1 has eighteen films to his name in his 21-year long career. The Pokkiri Raja actor had his last outing in the action drama Vattam which hit the screens in the year 2022 under the direction of Kamalakannan with actresses Andrea Jeremiah and Athulya Ravi as female leads. The entertainer was tagged with negative reviews and left theaters unnoticed. The Walter actor who has not had a release in two years will soon have one via his upcoming project titled Ten Hours. Newbie story teller Ilayaraja Kaliyaperumal has written and directed the movie. Actress Yamini Chander of Dinosaurs fame has depicted the female lead role in the flick. The project is currently in the post production stage.
The makers have now dropped the first look poster of the flick on social media and have announced the release date of the film. Ten Hours is all set to hit theaters as a festive release on Pongal of this month. Taking to his official X handle, actor Sibi Sathyaraj dropped the first look poster of Ten Hours and wrote, “Happy to share the first look of my next film Ten Hours! An Intense & Gripping seat edge thriller packed with lots of riveting & thrilling moments! Every second counts!! Releasing in theatres on Pongal 2025. In the first look shared by the actor, he appears stout with a thick beard holding a stern expression on his face in the background. While there is a tourist bus alongside the title with the tagline, ‘No crime is perfect.’ Ten Hours is touted to be an intense crime thriller that depicts events that unfold in a span of ten hours. The makers are yet to reveal the rest of the artists that are part of the cast. The technical side of the flick has music director K S Sundramoorthy handling the musical division of the drama. Cinematographer Jai Karthik has operated cameras for the venture. Editor Lawrence Kishore has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the movie. Art director Arushakar Durai has erected sets for the project. Stuntman Sakthi Saravanan has choreographed action moves. Ten Hours is produced by Latha Balu and Durgaini Vinoth under their home banner Duvin Studios.
On the professional front, actor Sibi Sathyaraj will soon have his next release in Ranger helmed by Dharanidharan in which he has romanced actresses Remya Nambeesan and Madhu Shalini. The Kattappava Kaanom star is currently in the sets of story teller Dharanidharan shooting alongside his father Sathyaraj for the sequel of their hit drama Jackson Durai. On the other hand, actress Yamini Chander is gearing up for the release of her next flick Padai Thalaivan crafted by U Anbu in which she will be seen alongside actor Shanmuga Pandiyan, son of late actor Vijayakanth.
