Actor Vishnu Vishal has not had a decent commercial success in a long time. But he has been relentlessly working hard to deliver one. The Maaveeran Kittu actor lastly entertained audiences in the sport flick Lal Salaam scripted by Aishwarya Rajinikanth in which he had co-starred with actor Vikranth. The drama opened to negative reviews and ended up being a disaster at the box office. The Kathanayagan star has put this behind and has moved on to his next venture titled Irandu Vaanam. Storyteller Ram Kumar who has previously worked with the actor in blockbuster ventures like Mundasupatti and Ratsasan, will be helming the entertainer. He has also written the story of the movie. Actress Mamitha Baiju of Rebel fame will be seen in the female lead role in the drama. The project recently went on floors in Chennai with a pooja ceremony.
The production house has now released the first look poster of the drama on social media. Taking to their official X handle, the production team of Sathya Jyothi Films unveiled a couple of first look posters from Irandu Vaanam and wrote, “Elated to present you all ‘IRANDU VAANAM’ from your beloved combo of Vishnu Vishal & director Ramkumar after Mundasupatti & Ratsasan. One of the first look posters has actor Vishnu Vishal seated on a cloud and opposite to it is an inverted picture of actress Mamitha Baiju. The other poster has a vice versa image. The massive success of the duo in Mundasupatti and Ratsasan has created huge expectations on the venture. The production unit is currently zeroing in on artists that will be part of the cast. Music director Dhibu Ninan Thomas will be handling musical instruments for the entertainer. Cinematographer Dinesh K Babu has been brought on board to work on the cinematography department of the drama. Editor San Lokesh will be overseeing the editing department of the venture. Art director A Gopi Anand will be engineering sets for the film. Stunt master Vicky will be choreographing action moves for the flick. The drama is produced by T G Thyagarajan under the production company Sathya Jyothi Films.
On the work front, actor Vishnu Vishal will next be seen on screens in Aaryan crafted by storyteller K Praveen in which he has collaborated with actresses Vani Bhojan & Shraddha Srinath, and Mohandas helmed by director Murali Karthick in which he will be seen alongside actors Aishwarya Rajesh and Indrajith Sukumaran. The Silukkuvarupatti Singam actor is currently busy shooting for a slew of his untitled projects under directors Chella Ayyavu of Gatta Kusthi fame, Gokul, and Sathish Selvakumar. On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju is currently occupied in her upcoming flicks Jana Nayagan crafted by H Vinoth in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Vijay, Pooja Hegde, & Gautham Vasudev Menon, and for the project tentatively titled PR 4 filmed by Keerthiswaran in which she will be romancing actor Pradeep Ranganathan.
