Actor Siddharth last graced the silver screen in the romantic comedy movie Miss You scripted by director N Rajasekar with actress Ashika Ranganath in the female lead role. The venture drew negative reviews from critics and did badly commercially. The Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru actor will soon have the prospect to set things right with his next sports film christened Test. Producer S Sashikanth is set to turn storyteller with Test. Writer Suman Kumar has offered his assistance in forging the flow of the film. Actor R Madhavan has depicted a key part in the flick. Actress Nayanthara will be seen as the actor’s wife. Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine is set to make her comeback in Kollywood nearly after a decade with a pivotal role in the movie. The makers have announced that the project will be exclusively available for streaming on Netflix OTT platform from 4th of April in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The production team has been aggressively promoting the film on social media. As part of it they had recently released the teaser of the flick. Now they have unveiled the first single from the movie. Popular singer Shakthisree Gopalan who has sung numbers like ‘Imaye Imaye’ and ‘Kadhal Kan Kattudhe’ will be making her debut as a music director in the drama. Popular rapper Yogi B has penned and sung the track. The song is mixed by Toby Joseph and mastered by Mike Cervantes. The entertainer has been shot in and around the surroundings of Chennai and Bengaluru. Veteran actors Nassar and Kaali Venkat have essayed key supporting roles in the project. Viraj Singh Gohil has taken care of the cinematography department of the venture. Editor T S Suresh has been roped in to chop and patch the drama. Art director Arushakar Durai has designed sets for the flick. Stunt master Dinesh Subbarayan has fashioned action blocks for the movie. The entertainer is backed by S Sashikanth himself in collaboration with Chakravarthy Ramachandra under the banner house YNOT Studios.
