Actor Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan were last seen on screens together in last month’s release Vidaamuyarchi filmed by Magizh Thirumeni with actors Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra as antagonists. The pair are now gearing up for the release of their next drama titled Good Bad Ugly. It marks their sixth collaboration following their celebrated chemistry in Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, Yennai Arindhaal, and Vidaamuyarchi. Actor Prasanna has essayed a prominent part in the entertainer. Director Adhik Ravichandran, who came to limelight with the adult comedy Trisha Illana Nayanthara, has crafted the project. Writers Ravi Kandasamy and Harish Manikandan have assisted in molding the flow of the story. Good Bad Ugly is set to have a grand release worldwide on 10th of April. It will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The production unit had recently unveiled the teaser of the venture on social media. They have now launched the first single from the drama. Taking to his official X account, story teller Adhik Ravichandran himself dropped the first single ‘OG Sambavam’ from Good Bad Ugly and captioned it, “Here is the First Single Ajith Kumar sir’s OG Sambavam. Red dragons. A G V Prakash Kumar Musical. Lyrics by Vishnu Edavan. Mythri Official. Suresh Chandraa sir. Raahul. Good Bad Ugly.” Here is the post made by the director.
Music composer G V Prakash Kumar has handled musical gears for the film. He has crooned the number along with Adhik Ravichandran. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan has penned lyrics for the track. Jehovahson Alghar has mixed and mastered the song. Actor Ajith Kumar is said to have depicted three unique quirky characters in the venture. Good Bad Ugly was shot in Hyderabad, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Apart from Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, and Prasanna, the star cast of Good Bad Ugly also has actors Prabhu, Arjun Das, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunil, Raghu Ram, Rahul Dev, and B S Avinash depicting various supporting roles.
Cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam has cranked the camera for the movie. Editor Vijay Velukutty has been brought on board to work on the editing division of the entertainer. Art director Ramalingam has fashioned the background for the venture. Stunt masters Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov have choreographed action blocks for the project. Good Bad Ugly is funded by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under their production label Mythri Movie Makers. Bhushan Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar are set to present the film under the production banner T Series Films. Raahul of Romeo Pictures will be releasing the entertainer in Tamil Nadu. Netflix OTT platform has acquired the streaming rights of the flick for a whopping 95 crore.
On the professional front, actress Trisha Krishnan is keenly awaiting consecutive releases via Thug Life crafted by director Mani Ratnam in which she has performed alongside actors Kamal Haasan & Silambarasan, a Malayalam film named Ram scripted by Jeethu Joseph in which she will be seen alongside actor Mohanlal, and a Telugu movie Vishwambhara filmed by director Mallidi Vassishta in which she has co starred with actor Chiranjeevi. The Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa actor is currently busy shooting for her next venture tentatively christened Suriya 45 directed by RJ Balaji in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Suriya, Sshivada, and Swasika.
