Actress Sonia Agarwal who began her journey in Tamil cinema in the year 2003 with the romantic psychological thriller film Kaadhal Kondein has completed two decades in the industry. The 7G Rainbow Colony actress had her last outing in the Amazon Prime web anthology series Sshhh in which she had collaborated with actresses Ineya, and Aishwarya Dutta. The series was tagged with mixed reviews and is yet to fall in the attention of audiences. The Unnaal Ennaal actress is set to open her account this year with her courtroom drama titled Will. Newbie story teller S Sivaraman has written and directed the movie. Actor Vikranth has portrayed an extended cameo role in the flick. The shoot for the venture is wrapped and is in the post production stage. The makers are currently working to fix a release date for the drama. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
The production house has begun to promote the flick across multiple spaces. As part of it, they have now launched the first single from the drama on social media. Taking to his official X handle, music composer D Imman dropped the first single ‘Tesla’ from Will and wrote, “Thrilled to Release the First single Tesla, From Will. Feel the vibe of the music. A powerful track that sets the tone! Congrats to the entire team!” Here is the post made by the musician.
Singers Roshini JKV, and Christopher Stanley have lent their voices for the number. Lyricist Kalai Kumar has penned lyrics for the song. Music director and brother of Sonia Agarwal, Saurabh Agarwal has scored music for the venture. The track is mixed and mastered by Rupendar Venkatesh. Dance master Abu has choreographed dance moves for the track. Earlier talking to a leading media house about the drama, director Sivaraman said, “Will is based on a real-life case that I personally handled in my career as an advocate. I was moved by the intricacy of the case and decided that this story must be told to the world. The movie will capture the selfless and emotional sacrifice that a woman makes amidst a family tussle.”
Apart from Sonia Agarwal, and Vikranth, the casting unit of Will has actors Alekhya Gadamboina, Millababygal, and Sanjana depicting pivotal supporting characters. Cinematographer T S Prasanna has operated cameras for the film. Editor G Dinesh will oversee the editing department. Art director Mani has erected sets for the flick. Stunt master Fire Karthik has choreographed action blocks for the project. The entertainer is produced by Dinesh Shetty under his home banner FootSteps Production in association with Pradip D Kothari under the banner label Kothari Madras International Limited.
On the professional front, actress Sonia Agarwal will soon have her next release in Malayalam via Behindd directed by Ahman Raphy in which she has shared screen space with actors Jinu E Thomas, Mareena, and Noby Marcose. The Palakkattu Madhavan star is currently busy shooting for the sequel of the superhit web series Queen filmed by storytellers Gautham Vasudev Menon and Prasath Murugesan in which she will be seen alongside actress Ramya Krishnan and Anjana Jayaprakash.
