Actor Vijay Sethupathi lastly entertained audiences in the period political crime thriller drama Viduthalai Part 2 directed by Vetrimaaran with Malayalam actress Manju Warrier as female lead. The Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum star will next be seen on screen in his upcoming entertainer titled Ace. Film maker P Arumuga Kumar, who directed actor Vijay Sethupathi in the black comedy movie Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, has penciled and crafted the project. Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth will be venturing into Tamil cinema with her female lead part in the entertainer. Comedian Yogi Babu has depicted a pivotal role in the flick. In a poster released by the production team Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu were seen arm wrestling each other.
The makers had dropped a special poster for this New Year on social media to extend their wishes to the audience. They have now released the first single from the drama. Taking to his official X account, actor Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster from the flick along with a link to the first single ‘Urugudhu Urugudhu’ from Ace and wrote, “Cupid has struck Urugudhu Urugudhu – The Perfect Melody for the Perfect Pair is Out Now. Singers Shreya Ghosal and Kapil Kapilan have lent their voice for the track. Lyricist Thamarai has written lyrics for the number. Music composer Justin Prabhakaran has scored music for the entertainer. The track is mixed by Balu Thankachan and mastered by Donal Whelan. Besides Vijay Sethupathi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Yogi Babu, the casting crew of the movie also has actors Alvin Martin, B S Avinash, Babloo Prithviraj, Divya Pillai, Rajkumar, Priscilla Nair, Jasper Supayah, Nagulan, Denes Kumar, Zahrinaris, Muthu Kumar, and Kaarthick Jay depicting various supporting characters.
