It has been a long time since actor Vijay Antony delivered a solid commercial hit. The actor who is known for selecting good commercially viable projects is facing headwinds sadly. The Thimiru Pudichavan star was last seen on screens last month in Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan crafted by S D Vijay Milton. In no time, he is set to have another release in the upcoming flick Hitler. Actress Riya Suman of Manmadha Leelai fame has essayed the female lead role in the entertainer. While director Gautham Vasudev Menon has portrayed the role of a policeman. Story teller S A Dana has penciled and crafted the flick. The makers have officially announced that Hitler will be out in theaters worldwide on 27th of September. Prabhu Deva’s Petta Rap, Karthi’s Meiyazhagan, and Bharath’s Once Upon A Time In Madras are also slated to hit the screens on the same day.
The production house had recently released the teaser of the entertainer on social media. They have now unveiled the trailer of the movie. Taking to his official X account, actor TR Silambarasan dropped the trailer of Hitler, and captioned it, “Elated to launch the trailer of Vijay Antony’s Hitler. My best wishes to S A Dana & the whole team! Hitler from Sep 27.” Here is the post made by the actor.
Two minute trailer of Hitler opens with a quote, ‘A weapon’s destination is decided whilst creating it.’ It then cuts to a voiceover, “The meaning of true power in this world is not money or one’s authority. It is the number of people who stand behind someone in trust. If there are four people behind someone, he is rowdy. If there are forty people behind him, he is a gangster! If there are four crore people behind him, he is a leader.” We then witness a slew of murders. Following it we see Gautham Vasudev Menon’s character announcing, “Someone has shot and killed three people with a pistol. I need that guy.” The trailer ends with a politician saying, “If the public still remembers all the crimes we committed, how could we have won the elections five times?”
Cast of Hitler includes actors Charan Raj, Aadukalam Naren, Redin Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, and Tamizh. Musicians Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon have worked on the musical department of the drama. Two numbers titled Tappasu & Adiyaathi are out from the album. Cinematographer I Naveen Kumar has been behind camera for the flick. Editor E Sangathamizhan has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the drama. Art director C Udhaya Kumar has fashioned sets for the venture. Action director G Murali has designed action moves. The film is bankrolled by T D Rajha along with D R Sanjay Kumar for the banner house Chendur Film International.
On the professional front, actor Vijay Antony will soon have his next release in Valli Mayil directed by Suseenthiran. Actors Faria Abdullah and Sathyaraj have played pivotal roles in the drama. On the other hand, actress Riya Suman is currently busy shooting for her next venture christened Walking Talking Strawberry Ice Cream helmed by director V Vinayak in which she will be collaborating with actors Vaishnavi Andhale and Jonita Gandhi.
