It is quite a known news that actor Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram is set to make his debut in the Tamil film industry, with the remake of Arjun Reddy titled as Adithya Varma in Tamil. The film is directed by Gireesaya, the former associate director of Sandeep Vanga, who is the director of the original version. The film is produced by E4 Entertainment. Banita Sandhu plays the female lead in the movie.
In a recent update it was announced that actress Priya Anand will be a part of the movie and will be seen in a pivotal role. Now, news has surfed up on the internet that director Gautham Vasudev Menon will be part of the drama. And it is said that he will be playing dad of Dhruv Vikram in the movie. This contemplated news is all over in the internet, but we will have to wait to get an official confirmation from the production unit.
Gautham Menon is currently busy in the making of Dhruva Natchathiram, the post production works of the film are said to be in the final stage. The lead role in the film is played by the versatile actor of Tamil cinema Vikram, it also stars Simran, DD, and many others. Being a multi starrer film, the film has set very high expectations among the audience. The director is also getting ready to release the much anticipated film under his direction Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta starring National Award Winner Dhanush.
This film was set to be released last year. The film was almost completely shot and was nearing the finishing stage but things got a bit clumpy when the production head after seeing the preview of the movie expressed his disappointment and went on to tag the movie as lifeless. Then the crisis went on like wild fire and finally the production unit announced that they have decided to replace the director and shoot the entire film again. The film was initially directed by Pithaa Magan fame director Bala.
It was Vikram who wanted Bala to direct the film. It was only after the actor himself played the lead role in Bala’s directorial Sethu the actor rose to fame. So as a matter of sentiment he wanted his son to be directed by Bala in his debut film. Speaking about it, Vikram said, “Bala is the right person to learn the trade from.”
