Actor Jai was last seen in a supporting role in Annapoorani: The Goddess Of Food crafted by Nilesh Krishnaa with actress Nayanthara in the lead role. The Kuttram Kuttrame star is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming venture titled Baby And Baby. Director Prathap has written and directed the movie. Veteran actor Sathyaraj and comedian Yogi babu have depicted crucial roles in the film. The entertainer has been in the making for a long time. But finally, it has arrived at the release stage. The production house has now dropped the trailer of the entertainer on social media and have announced the release date of the drama. Baby And Baby is all set to hit theaters on 14th of February.
Taking to his official X handle, story teller Venkat Prabhu dropped a poster from the movie along with a link to the trailer of Baby And Baby and wrote, “Get ready for the Fun-filled family entertainment! The Joy-loaded trailer of Baby And Baby is here! Huge cheers to my dearest Jai, comedy king Yogi Babu & the entire dream team! Releasing this February 14 in theaters near you! Two minute trailer of Baby And Baby opens to an aerial shot of a palace and cuts to actor Sathyaraj saying, “Nobody in this house should leave town until this baby is put in the golden cradle.” In a comedy clip we see a young woman telling Yogi Babu, “Hi handsome, in this green attire, you look like Alai Payuthey Madhavan.” He casually responds, “I know.” In another scene we witness actor Redin Kingsley saying to Jai and Yogi Babu, “I will not tell anyone that I am a police officer. You also do not reveal it.” Jai retorts, “Even if I say nobody will believe it.” Yogi Babu chimes in, “Even if we tell them, they will only bash us.” Then we have a shot where Jai’s wife tells him, “I will sacrifice anything for you and your family. But not my child.”
Apart from Jai, Sathyaraj, and Yogi babu, cast of Baby And Baby has actors Keerthana, Sai Dhanya, Pragya Nagra, Ilavarasu, Sriman, Anandraj, Nizhalgal Ravi, Singampuli, Redin Kingsley, Mottai Rajendran, RJ Vigneshkanth, Thangadurai, Ramar, Prathosh, Seshu, Kaliki Raja, and Nellai Mani essaying various supporting characters. The technical side of the flick has music director D Imman handling the musical division of the drama. Cinematographer T P Sarathy has operated cameras for the venture. Editor K Anandhalingakumar has been brought on board to edit the movie. Art director M Vijay Iyappan has erected sets for the project. Stuntman Om Prakash has choreographed action moves. Baby And Baby is backed by B Yuvaraj under the production banner Yuvaraj Films.
On the professional front, actor Jai will soon have his next release in the action crime thriller Karuppar Nagaram scripted by Gopi Nainar in which he has romanced actress Aishwarya Rajesh. Beside this venture, he has his long-delayed movies Khakhee helmed by A Senthil Kumar in which he has associated with actors Vijay Antony, Indhuja, Sathyaraj, and Party filmed by Venkat Prabhu in which he will be seen alongside actors Shiva, Chandran, Regina Cassandra, Sanchita Shetty, and Nivetha Pethuraj in the box awaiting release.
