Kriti Sanon Bio

Born in New Delhi on 27 July 1990, Kriti Sanon studied engineering at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and briefly worked as a fashion model before becoming an actress. She made her acting debut in 2014 as Sameera in the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine. Her first Hindi film, Heropanti, was released that year and earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

She subsequently appeared in the Telugu film Dohchay and the Hindi ensemble comedy Dilwale in 2015. Her later roles included Saira and Saiba in Raabta, Bitti Mishra in Bareilly Ki Barfi, Rashmi Trivedi in Luka Chuppi and Parvatibai in Panipat. She also played dual roles in Housefull 4, appearing as Rajkumari Madhu and Kriti.

In 2021, she played the title character in Mimi, a comedy-drama about a surrogate mother. The performance brought her the National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She followed it with roles in Hum Do Hamare Do, Bachchhan Paandey, Bhediya, Shehzada, Adipurush and Ganapath.

Her 2024 releases included Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, in which she played Sifra, Crew, where she appeared as Divya Rana, and Do Patti, where she played Saumya and Shailee. She has also established the production company Blue Butterfly Films, along with businesses in clothing, fitness and skin care.
