Actors Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan played the lead pair in the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi which hit theaters under the direction of Magizh Thirumeni with stars Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in negative roles. The celebrated onscreen pair will soon be seen together yet again in their upcoming action-comedy film Good Bad Ugly. The flick will be the duo’s sixth collaboration after Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, Yennai Arindhaal, and Vidaamuyarchi. Actor Prasanna has portrayed a key role in the flick. Story teller Adhik Ravichandran, who rose to fame with the adult entertainer Trisha Illana Nayanthara, has directed the film. Writers Ravi Kandasamy and Harish Manikandan have helped in forging the flow of the movie. Good Bad Ugly is slated to hit screens worldwide on 10th of April in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Last month the makers had released the first single ‘OG Sambavam’ from the flick on social media. They have now dropped the lyrical video of the second single from the entertainer. Taking to their official X profile, production unit of Mythri Movie Makers launched the lyrical video of ‘God Bless U’ from Good Bad Ugly and captioned it, “Recreate AK’s SWAG for GBU’s VIBE. Musician Anirudh Ravichander has lent his voice for the number along with rapper Paal Dabba. Lyricist Rokesh has written the lyrics of the track. The song is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has composed music for the entertainer. The teaser of the film introduced actor Ajith Kumar as AK – the red dragon. The Nerkonda Paarvai actor is said to have played three diverse quirky characters in the project. The venture was shot in the localities of Hyderabad, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Apart from Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, and Prasanna, the casting unit of Good Bad Ugly also has veteran actor Prabhu, Arjun Das, Sunil, Raghu Ram, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Karthikeya Dev, Rahul Dev, and B S Avinash essaying various supporting parts.
Cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam has handled camera gears for the drama. Editor Vijay Velukutty has been roped in to oversee the editing department of the project. Art director Ramalingam has engineered sets for the venture. Stunt masters Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov have fashioned action moves for the drama. Good Bad Ugly is bankrolled by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the production house Mythri Movie Makers. Bhushan Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar will present the flick under the banner house T Series Films. Producer and distributor Raahul will be releasing the drama in Tamil Nadu under the production label Romeo Pictures. Netflix OTT platform has bagged the digital rights of the project for a whopping 95 crore.
On the work front, actress Trisha Krishnan is keenly awaiting the release of the gangster action-film Thug Life scripted by Mani Ratnam in which she will be seen alongside actors Kamal Haasan & Silambarasan, a Malayalam movie Ram directed by Jeethu Joseph in which she has co starred with actor Mohanlal, and a Telugu entertainer Vishwambhara directed by Mallidi Vassishta in which she has performed alongside actor Chiranjeevi. The Leo actress is currently engaged in her next venture tentatively christened Suriya 45 helmed by RJ Balaji in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Suriya, Sshivada, and Swasika.
