Actor Arya was last seen on screens in the science fiction movie Captain which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Shakti Soundar Rajan with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the female lead role. The flick opened to negative reviews from both the audience and critics alike. Thus, it did badly at the box office. But the Arinthum Ariyamalum actor has now moved on, and is currently busy shooting for his upcoming venture christened Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam. Director M Muthaiah of Kutty Puli fame is directing the flick. The entertainer recently went on floors with a small pooja ceremony. Now, we have an addition to the cast of the film.
We have news that actor Master Mahendran has been roped in to do an extended cameo part in Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam. The actor himself has announced the news on social media. Taking to his official twitter account the actor shared a news bite, and expressed his gratitude to the director for the opportunity, “I’m happy to be a part of darling Arya’s movie. He has always been a support throughout my career. I’m always grateful to him. Thank you director M Muthaiah sir for this opportunity. It has always been my dream to work in your movie. The production house had recently unveiled the first look poster of Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam on social media which had actor Arya in a beard look, clothed in black shirt and dhoti, sitting in a rugged fashion on a wooden chair. With a sketch of actor Rajinikanth from Baashha in the background. The first look poster went viral on social media, and the expectations on the project have skyrocketed already. The title has garnered a lot of attention as well. Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam marks the first-time association of actor Arya and director M Muthaiah. The storyteller is known for his fierce rural based entertainers. With the first look, one can be certain that Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam is going to be in line with his filmography.
Apart from actor Arya, Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam has actress Siddhi Idnani of Venthu Thaninthathu Kaadu fame essaying the female lead role. The rest of the cast that will be part of the project is expected to be finalized and announced soon. Music director G V Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for the drama. Cinematographer R Velraj has been brought on board to crank cameras for the venture. Editor Venkat Raajen has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the project. Stunt man Anal Rasu will be devising the action moves for the movie. Art director Veeramani Ganesan will be designing the background for the flick. The entertainer is produced by Shibu Thameens under the production company Drumsticks Productions along with Zee Studios.
On the work front, actor Master Mahendran who was last seen in Maaran is currently busy shooting for Ripubury directed by AK in which he will be collaborating with actress Kaavya Arivumani, for Karaa which is helmed by debutant Avatar, and for Amigo Garage crafted by Prasanth Nagarajan. Actor Arya who had his last outing in the action thriller Captain is currently busy shooting for his next untitled movie under the direction of film maker Nalan Kumarasamy. The Sarpatta Parambarai actor will soon make his debut in the small screen with his web series titled The Village crafted by storyteller Milind Rau which is in the post production getting shaped for release. On the other hand, actress Siddhi Idnani who was last seen on screens in Tamil in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is currently busy shooting for her upcoming drama Nooru Kodi Vaanavil filmed by Sasi in which she will be seen alongside actor Harish Kalyan.
