Actor Natarajan Subramaniam aka Natty had a release last month in the prison drama Sorgavaasal crafted by storyteller Sidharth Vishwanath. The film had an ensemble cast that comprised actors RJ Balaji, Selvaraghavan, Karunas, Saniya Iyappan, Balaji Sakthivel, and Santhana Bharathi. The Sathuranga Vettai star is now gearing up for yet another release via his upcoming crime thriller Seesaw. Film maker Guna Subramaniam has written and directed the drama. Internet sensation Padine Kumar, who made her debut in the web series HeartBeat, is set to make her feature film debut with her female lead role in the movie. Actor Nishanth Russo of Parundhaaguthu Oor Kuruvi fame has played a pivotal character in the movie. The production house is expected to announce the release date of the venture soon.
The audio and trailer launch function of the entertainer recently took place in Chennai. The production team has now released the trailer on social media. Taking to their official X profile, music label Trend Music dropped a poster from the drama along with a link to the trailer of Seesaw and worded, “When the Balance of Life is twisted, will justice prevail? Find out in the trailer, Seesaw trailer is out now!!” Here is the post made by the music label.
Nearly two and a half minutes long trailer of Seesaw opens in a mortuary to a voiceover of a doctor informing, “Death should have occurred in the span of 10th and 11th between 10 pm – 2 am.” The scene cuts to actor Natarajan Subramaniam, who plays a cop, arriving at a crime scene. We then learn that a couple have gone missing. In the subsequent shot, we see a father of a missing girl pleading with the cops to find his daughter. During interrogation a person discloses with the cop that the husband had bipolar disorder. We are then introduced to Nishanth Russo’s character who seems to have wild emotional swings and behave in a violent manner. Pressure mounts on Natarajan Subramaniam to drop the case and move on to the next one. The trailer ends with him pondering, “I have lapsed somewhere. I must start over.”
Seesaw is touted to be based on true incidents. Apart from Natarajan Subramaniam, Padine Kumar, and Nishanth Russo, the film has actors Nizhalgal Ravi, Jeeva Ravi, Aravindhraj, Sadaiyan Moorthy, and Aadesh Bala portraying various supporting characters. Music director Charan Kumar has been roped in to score music for the movie. Cinematographers Manivannan and Perumal have worked in tandem to capture the drama. The editing department has been handed over to editor Wilsi J Sasi. Art director Solai Anbu A Prabhakaran has designed the background for the flick. Stuntman Mani Kandan has choreographed action blocks. Seesaw is bankrolled by Dr K Senthilvelan in collaboration with N Suguna Ramu under the production company Vidiyal Studios.
On the professional front, actor Natarajan Subramaniam will soon begin to shoot for actor Suriya’s next project tentatively christened Suriya 45 which is set to be helmed by actor & director RJ Balaji. Actresses Sshivada and Swaswika have been engaged to play the female leads in the entertainer.
