Actress Payal Rajput was last seen on screens in Kollywood in the family drama Iruvar Ullam which hit the theaters under director G Ramesh with actor Vinay Rai in the lead role. The movie did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Thus, left the theaters unnoticed. The actress has now put that behind her, and is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Tamil Telugu bilingual flick christened Chevvaikizhamai. Actress Nandita Swetha has depicted a pivotal part in the project. Director Ajay Bhupathi has penned and directed the venture. Writer Kalyan Raghav has written dialogues for the film. The entertainer which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time back is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage getting fine tuned for release.
The production house has now unveiled the teaser of the flick on social media. Director Ajay Bhupathi himself has shared the teaser. Taking to his official twitter handle, the storyteller dropped a few posters from the drama along with a link to the teaser of Chevvaikizhamai and wrote, “Witness the FEAR IN EYES. One-minute teaser cut opens to an appalled group of henchmen trembling at the sight of something. Following which we see a boy looking at a burning temple. The scene cuts to a close up shot of a cheetah. Then we get visuals of people looking at the sky with a sense of nervousness. Then a character asks a man, “What are you looking at?” The man replies, “Just shut your mouth for some time.” Then we have a shot of actress Nandita Swetha carrying out an investigation. The teaser has garnered the attention of audiences, and has engendered high anticipation for the flick. Chevvaikizhamai will be released in languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Chevvaikizhamai is touted to be a horror thriller. Actress Payal Rajput plays a mystic character while actress Nandita Swetha essays the part of a cop. Apart from actors Payal Rajput, and Nandita Swetha, the casting department of the venture has actors Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Gosh, Shravan Reddy, and Srithej portraying various other supporting roles. The musical division of the flick has been handed over to music director B Ajaneesh Loknath. Cinematographer Sivendra Dasaradhi has been behind the lens for the drama. Editor Madhav Kumar Gullapalli has been roped in to trim the project. Art director Mohan Talluri has erected sets for the entertainer. Action directors Real Satish, and Pruthvi have choreographed action blocks for the film. The project is bankrolled by Swathi Reddy Gunupati under the banner house Mudhra Media Works along with Suresh Varma M for the production label A Creative Works.
On the work front, actress Payal Rajput who had her last outing in Tamil cinema in Iruvar Ullam is getting ready for the release of her next drama titled Golmaal directed by Pon Kumaran in which she has shared screen space with actors Jiiva, Shiva, and Tanya Hope. The actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Kirathaka helmed by film maker VeeraBhadram in which she will be romancing actor Aadi Saikumar. On the other hand, actress Nandita Swetha who was last seen in Tamil in a cameo appearance in MGR Magan is currently busy shooting for her next Telugu venture titled Raa Raa Penimiti under the direction of storyteller Satya Venkat in which she will be seen in the lead role. Apart from this drama, the actress has Vanangamudi helmed by Selva in which she has collaborated with actors Arvind Swamy, Ritika Singh, and Chandini Tamilarasan, a Telugu movie Hidimbha scripted by Aneel Kanneganti in which she has associated with actor Ashwin Babu, a Kannada flick My Name Is Kirataka filmed by Anil Kumar in which she will be seen alongside actor Yash, and her long delayed venture Idam Porul Eval crafted by director Seenu Ramasamy in which she has co starred with actors Vijay Sethupathi, and Vishnu Vishal in various stages of post-production getting refined for release.
