Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon Trailer: Love Story Of A Reckless College Boy!

Actor Pradeep Ranganathan made a stellar debut in Kollywood with the comedy drama Comali. The extraordinary reception of the film turned him into a lead hero in the romantic comedy Love Today. His debut as a lead hero was even bigger than his directorial debut. With positive momentum on his side, he is now gearing up for his next release in Dragon. Story teller Ashwath Marimuthu of Oh My Kadavule fame, has penciled and crafted the film. He has worked with actor Pradeep Ranganathan to build the story of the flick. Actress Anupama Parameswaran of Siren fame has essayed the female lead role in the entertainer. Director and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon has portrayed a crucial part. Earlier the production house had announced that the project will be released on 14th of February. Now we have news that the flick has been rescheduled to 21st of February. 

The makers have begun to promote the entertainer on various platforms. Now they have released the trailer of the film on social media. Taking to her official X handle, Aishwarya Kalpathi shared a poster from the drama along with a link to the trailer of Dragon and wrote, “So excited to finally share the trailer of one of our most special films! Hope you guys love it! Dragon trailer OUT NOW! Pradeep Ranganathan in & as Dragon. An Ashwath Marimuthu Araajagam. A Leon James musical. Pradeep Ashwath combo.” Here is the post made by her. 

Two minute trailer of Dragon opens with actress Kayadu Lohar telling Pradeep Ranganathan in the ear, “Actually, I love bad boys! It would be so cool to attend college with a boyfriend like that.” We are then introduced to him with a voiceover telling us what sort of a guy he is, “He is an irresponsible, atrocious, reckless, useless boy of 2018 batch.” We witness him commit atrocities and beat up people inside the college campus. In a shot he proudly says, “No engineer in history has had 48 backlogs, right? Then let me be the first!” The trailer ends with actor Pradeep Ranganathan innocently asking, “Tell me, Anbu, they always said girls like boys who are good and studious. Isn’t that an outright lie?” 

Cast of Dragon also features actors K S Ravi Kumar, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Mariam George, Harshath Khan, Indhumathy Manigandan, and Thenappan. The musical department of the project has been handed over to music composer Leon James. Three numbers christened Rise Of Dragon, Vizhithunaiye, and Yendi Vittu Pona are already released from the album. Cinematographer Niketh Bommi has handled camera gears for the movie. Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been handed the editing responsibilities. Art director Selva Kumar has engineered sets for the entertainer. Action masters Vicky and Dilip Subbarayan have designed action blocks for the film. The venture is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the production banner AGS Entertainment. 

On the work front, actor Pradeep Ranganathan will next be entertaining audiences with his science fiction romantic comedy film Love Insurance Kompany scripted by Vignesh Shivan in which he has shared screen space with actresses Krithi Shetty and Gouri G Kishan. On the other hand, actress Anupama Parameswaran will soon have her next release in Tamil via Lockdown crafted by A R Jeeva. The Kodi actress is presently engaged in her future Tamil project christened Bison filmed by Mari Selvaraj in which she will be co starring with actor Dhruv Vikram, and three of her Malayalam movies Paradha directed by Praveen Kandregula, JSK helmed by Pravin Narayanan in which she will be teaming up with actor Suresh Gopi, and Pet Detective scripted by Praneesh Vijayan in which she will be featuring alongside actor Sharafudheen.
