Actor Shane Nigam has earned a massive following among youngsters in Kerala in a short span with his natural performances in Kismath, Eeda, Kumbalangi Nights, and Ishq. The successive commercial hits have catapulted him into the bankable lead hero zone. The actor has now set his eyes on Kollywood. Story teller Vaali Mohan Das will be facilitating his arrival into Tamil cinema with his directorial Madraskaaran. Actor Kalaiyarasan of Madras fame has depicted the second lead in the flick. Actresses Niharika Konidela and Aishwarya Dutta of Tamil Big Boss fame have been cast as the leading ladies in the drama. An official release date for the entertainer is expected to be announced soon.
Music director Sam C S has scored music for the film. Earlier the production unit had released the teaser and the first single titled ‘Thai Thakka Kalyanam’ from the album on social media. Now they have unveiled the second track ‘Kadhal Sadugudu’. The number is the remix of AR Rahman’s popular song of the same name from the movie Alaipayuthey. Taking to his official X profile, music director D Imman dropped a poster from the flick along with a link to the song ‘Kadhal Sadugudu’ and captioned it, “Remixing nostalgia! Delighted to share the remix of Kadhal Sadugudu from Madraskaaran. Music meets magic once again! Produced by: SR Productions. Shane Nigam. Kalaiyarasan. Aishwarya Dutta. Singer RK Adithya has lent his voice for the track. Musician Sujith Sreedhar has mixed and mastered the number. Lyrics for the original song was written by lyricist Vairamuthu. Madraskaaran is hyped to be an action thriller movie. It is about a young man who migrates from Chennai to Madurai and gets entangled with an influential man in the town. The teaser of the entertainer had a slew of killings and high-octane action blocks promising an action feast for fans of action entertainers. The makers have shot the project in and around the vicinities of Chennai, Madurai, and Kochi.
Besides Shane Nigam, Kalaiyarasan, Niharika Konidela, and Aishwarya Dutta, Madraskaaran also has veteran actors Karunas, Pandiarajan, and Sharan portraying key supporting characters. Prasanna S Kumar has handled the cinematography division of the flick. Editor R Vasantha Kumar has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Art director Ananth Mani has erected sets for the film. Action master Santhosh has designed action moves. The venture is produced by B Jagadish for his production company SR Productions.
On the professional side, actor Shane Nigam is currently engaged in a few of his upcoming Malayalam ventures Aayirathonnam Ravu crafted by Salam Bappu, Bermuda helmed by T K Rajeev Kumar, Haal directed Prasanth Vijayakumar, and Painkili filmed by director Devan. Apart from these entertainers, he has his long-delayed films Parakramam directed by Arjun Ramesh in which he has associated with actress Sona Olickal, and Qurbani helmed by storyteller V Geo in which he has shared screen space with actress Aarsha Chandhini Baiju in the box awaiting release.
