Nearly two minute long trailer cut opens to a flickering bulb with a melodramatic song. Then a loud voice over informs, “Folks, Thangaponnu’s earrings have gone missing from her ears.” Fight erupts between women in the house. Then we have actor Pasupathy enquiring, “Who first saw the body, who was near the body, and why wear such expensive earrings in the first place?” One of the women retorts, “Earrings are meant to be worn in ears, or else should we wear it below our belly button?” The scene then cuts to a character saying, “Don’t you know the people of the village are weird?” Following which a character asks Pasupathy, “Do you have gun?” The actor responds with a shock, “Gun?” The trailer ends with a quip where Pasupathy says, “Listen people nobody should speak before I investigate.” To which a character responds, “Before that find out the one in the crowd who runs a fake profile on Tamanna’s name.” From the trailer one could gauge that gold earrings worn by a dead person goes missing, and a cop is brought in to find the culprit.
