Versatile actor Vikram who is known for his swag was last seen on screens as Aditha Karikalan in the epic historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan: II helmed by auteur Mani Ratnam with an ensemble cast. The film shattered records at the box office. The Cobra actor is currently busy with his upcoming venture titled Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. Storyteller S U Arun Kumar of Chithha fame has written and directed the flick. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame will play the love interest of actor Vikram. Actor S J Suryah has portrayed a pivotal part in the entertainer. The production crew recently wrapped their second schedule of shoot.
During the shoot actor S J Suryah seems to be awe-struck by the level of dedication with which an episode involving himself, Vikram, and Suraj Venjaramoodu was shot. He has shared his experience on social media. Taking to his official X account, the former director dropped a picture of the crew from the spot, and worded, “In MaduraI, last night director Arun Kumar sir shot an extraordinary episode (pre climax) between Chiyaan Vikram sir, myself & Suraj sir for Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. Before the shoot he rehearsed this episode on location with his assistant and team for about Ten days and then brought us (actors) to the location rehearsed 3 nights with us and last night he achieved it around 5.05 in the early morning. One word I want to say is director Arun Kumar sir “KALAITHAYIN IZHAYAMAHAN IYAA NEER (NEENGA)” Congrats producer Riya Shibu sir.” Here is the post made by the actor.

Responding to the tweet producer Riya Shibu wrote, “Extremely happy to hear these words from you sir! Even more excited to see the outcome of my favorite set of actors in collaboration with S.U. Arun anna and HR pictures.” This conversation has not only skyrocketed expectations on the flick but has sent the fans of actor Vikram to a frenzy state. Veera Dheera Sooran was directed by N Shankar Dayal with actors Vishnu Vishal, Sri Divya, and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. For unknown reasons the project was shelved. The makers have not yet made it clear whether Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 has anything to do with Vishnu Vishal’s dropped venture.
Veera Dheera Sooran has Malayalam actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Siddique essaying key parts. Music director G V Prakash Kumar will be handling musical gears for the movie. The cinematography department of the venture will be overseen by Theni Eswar. Editor G K Prasanna has been roped in to edit the entertainer. Art director C S Balachander will design the background for the flick. Veera Dheera Sooran is bankrolled by Riya Shibu under his banner house HR Pictures.
On the professional front, actor Vikram will soon have a release in Thangalaan directed by Pa Ranjith. He has co starred with actresses Malavika Mohanan, and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the film. Apart from this flick, the Saamy Square actor has his long-delayed project Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Actors Ritu Varma, Simran, Radhika Sarathkumar, R Parthiban, and Dhivyadharshini have played pivotal roles in the drama.
