Actor Aadhi Pinisetty last graced the silver screen in the science fiction crime comedy drama Partner helmed by director Manoj Damodharan with actress Hansika Motwani in the female lead part. The venture garnered negative reviews from critics and had a poor collection. The Aadu Puli star is now getting ready for the release of his next horror thriller christened Sabdham. Director Arivazhagan Venkatachalam, who already collaborated with Aadhi Pinisetty in Eeram, has penciled and directed the project. Actress Lakshmi Menon of Kumki fame has essayed the female lead part in the drama. Veteran actress Simran has depicted a key character in the entertainer. The flick has been shot in and around the vicinities of Chennai, Munnar, and Mumbai. The makers have already publicized that the venture will be released on 28th of February this year.
Meanwhile, the production house has started to promote the project across channels. As part of it, they had recently launched two numbers from the movie on social media. Now they have unveiled the trailer of the flick. Taking to his official X handle, actor Aadhi Pinisetty shared a poster from the entertainer along with a link to the trailer of Sabdham and captioned it, “The thrill has a new face! Sabdham trailer is out now! Link. Get ready for a Sound Thriller. From the makers of Vaishali. Sabdham trailer. Sabdham From Feb 28. Starring Aadhi Pinisetty. A Arivazhagan Venkatachalam film. Two minute trailer of Sabdham opens with a character saying, “The pain feels like a thousand bats screaming into my ears.” Then we have a doctor describing the condition, “It is a kind of audio hallucination. The way she described the sound was very new and strange to me.” We have the intro of Aadhi Pinisetty who tells the victim, “My name is Ruben! I am here to help you.” We witness the actor tracking sounds in dark places and following its lead. In a scene we have actress Lakshmi Menon asking him, “Are you a ghost investigator or a crime investigator?” The trailer ends with actor Aadhi Pinisetty saying, “Life does not end at death. There is an afterlife.”
The casting unit of Sabdham also comprises actors Vivek Prasanna, Laila, M S Bhaskar, Redin Kingsley, and Rajiv Menon. Music director S Thaman has composed music for the drama. Two numbers ‘Maaya Maaya’ and ‘Grandma Song’ are out from the album. Cinematographer Arun Bathmanaban has shouldered cameras for the project. Editor V J Sabu Joseph has been signed in to edit the entertainer. Art director Arushakar Durai has designed sets for the venture. Action master Stunner Sam has choreographed action moves. The entertainer is funded by Siva under his production label 7G Films along with S Banupriya Siva under the banner house AAlpha Frames. N Cinemas will be releasing the venture in Andhra Pradesh. While Mythri Movies Distributors will be presenting it in Nizam.
On the work front, actor Aadhi Pinisetty will soon join the sets of story teller A R K Saravan to shoot for the sequel of their superhit film Maragatha Naanayam in which he will be sharing screen space with actress and his wife Nikki Galrani Pinisetty. On the other hand, currently actress Lakshmi Menon is occupied in her next Tamil flick Malai scripted by IP Murugesh in which she will be featuring alongside actor Yogi Babu, and a Telugu mythological drama Kannappa filmed by director Mukesh Kumar Singh in which she will be associating with actors Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, and Sarathkumar.
