Actor Siddharth was last seen on screen in the romantic comedy flick Miss You filmed by N Rajasekar with actress Ashika Ranganath as female lead. The Jil Jung Juk actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming sports drama Test. Producer S Sashikanth who bankrolled Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, will make his debut as a filmmaker through the project. Writer Suman Kumar has helped in forging the screenplay of the entertainer. Actor R Madhavan has played a pivotal part in the movie. Actress Nayanthara has portrayed the role of the actor’s wife. Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine is returning to Kollywood nearly after a decade with a key part in the flick. Test is poised to be exclusively streamed on Netflix OTT platform from 4th of April in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The makers had recently shared the teaser and first single from the movie on social media. They have now launched the second track from the flick. Music director Anirudh Ravichander took to his official X account and dropped the second single ‘hope’ from Test and captioned it, “Happy to release Hope – a haunting melody from TEST that hits straight to the soul! Composed & sung by Shakthisree Gopalan in 5 languages! Popular singer Shakthisree Gopalan who is behind songs like ‘Imaye Imaye’ and ‘Kadhal Kan Kattudhe’ is set to wear the music director’s hat in the entertainer. She has also crooned the number. Lyricist Rajesh Shridhar has written the lyrics for the track. The song is mixed by Toby Joseph and mastered by Mike Cervantes. The movie has been predominantly shot in the localities of Chennai and Bengaluru. Apart from Siddharth, Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Meera Jasmine, the flick also has veteran actors Nassar, Kaali Venkat, Vinay Varma, M J Shriram, and Aadukalam Murugadoss depicting various supporting roles. Cinematographer Viraj Singh Gohil has handled camera gears for the project. Editor T S Suresh has been trusted with the editing division of the entertainer. Art director Arushakar Durai has fashioned background for the drama. Stunt man Dinesh Subbarayan has designed action blocks for the venture. Test is produced by S Sashikanth himself along with Chakravarthy Ramachandra under the production house YNOT Studios.
