Actor Aegan who has acted in a bunch of short films and tv series came to limelight with his part in the popular series Kana Kaanum Kaalangal. He opened his account in Kollywood with his supporting role in Rio Raj’s Joe. Now he is all set to make his debut as a lead hero in his upcoming venture Kozhipannai Chelladurai. National award recipient Seenu Ramasamy has written and helmed the drama. Writer Prabhakar has offered his assistance in writing dialogues. Actress Brigida Saga of Iravin Nizhal fame had portrayed the female lead part in the flick. Actor Yogi Babu has depicted a pivotal part in the film.
The makers have now released the teaser of the flick on social media along with its release date. Taking to his official X profile, actor Soori unveiled the teaser of Kozhipannai Chelladurai and wrote, “Extremely happy to release Seenu Ramasamy’s Kozhipannai Chelladurai teaser and it is ready to hit theaters on September 20th worldwide. Starring Aegan, Yogi Babu, Brigida Saga. Produced by Vision Cinema House. Catch the excitement now on Vision Cinema House YouTube channel. The one-minute odd teaser opens to the voiceover of Yogi Babu asking a character, “Here people who slave around must continue to do so. But one must figure out for whom they are running around, when are you going to start working for yourself?” He responds, “There is a difference between running in fear, and out of love uncle.” Then we are shown a few glimpses of romance between the lead pair followed by a feud in a family. Apart from actors Aegan, Yogi Babu, and Brigida Saga, Kozhipannai Chelladurai stars Sathya, Kutti Puli, Dinesh, Leo Sivakumar, Aishwariya Dutta, Bhava Chelladurai, Manasvi Kottachi, Riyaz, and Sriram.
The music for the flick has been composed by music director N R Raghunandhan. Cinematographer Ashokraj has operated camera for the drama. Editor Srikar Prasad has been brought on board to bring coherence to the entertainer. Art director R Saravana Abiraman has fashioned sets for the flick. Stunt man Stunner Shyam has choreographed action blocks. The project is bankrolled by DR D Arulanandhu, Mathewo Arulanandhu along with K Srivasan Niranjan under the production label Vision Cinema House.
On the work front, actor Yogi Babu is gearing up for consecutive releases in Suriya’s Kanguva crafted by Siruthai Siva, Malai helmed by story teller IP Murugesh in which he has co starred with Lakshmi Menon, and Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time directed by Venkat Prabhu. The Dhillu Irundha Poradu actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Medical Miracle directed by K Johnson. Actress Dharsha Gupta of Cook with Comali fame has been signed to portray the female lead part in the entertainer. Apart from these projects, he has Evidence filmed by Ranjith Manikandan in which he will be collaborating with actor Sasikumar, and Poochandi crafted by director Krishnan Jayaraj with actress Anjali in the lead role.
