As part of promotion for the drama, the actress has recently sat down for an interview with a leading daily. Speaking about her experience shooting for the movie, she expressed, “Shooting for Amigo was a new experience for me. First schedule of shoot was in Chennai. We shot only my portions of the film. So basically, I was the only actor on set apart from the crew. When there are many artists, we have a fun chat during the break or when the team is preparing the spot. As I am the only artist, I had to shoot most of the time except for when the team takes time to adjust lighting and camera. When there are multiple artists involved there will room for on spot improvisation. But without all that, it was a new experience for me. Also, it was a bit strenuous as we shot extensively during night time.”

On playing a model in the flick she commented, “I was a finalist in Miss Chennai event and have worked as a model for more than 100 commercial advertisements. So, my modelling experience came in handy. It was like going down my memory lane. Besides this is the first time I play a model. Unlike my previous roles I had to be more attentive to my diet, hair, and makeup. I had to hit the gym regularly to stay in shape. We had a few other models to shoot for the ramp walk scene. It was great to get along with them. We even shot in a real pub where the vibe of junior artists was fantastic.”

Apart from Chandini Tamilarasan, the entertainer has actors Suvitha Rajendran, Praveen Elango, Vatsan Chakravarthi, Pragya Bannerjee, Manisha Jashnani, Ramzan Muhammed, Dilsha Prasannan, Vekkey Simbu, and Aaradhana Aarnil Chandrama playing various supporting roles. Music director Revaa of Ini Oru Kadhal Seivom fame has been roped in to score music for the movie. Cinematographers Vachinathan Murugesan, Divyank Shantilal, and K Parvaez have been behind camera. Editor Pradeep Chandrakanth will oversee the editing department. Art director Ezhumalai Adikesavan has engineered sets. Stunt master Action Prakash has choreographed action sequences. The drama is bankrolled by B Girija along with Jithu Prabhakaran under the production company Pratyagara Motions Pictures.
