Shruti Haasan is one of the happening heroines in Kollywood industry and she has proven herself in the music industry as well. Last week, she gave a rocking performance at the famous Troubadour venue in London. She has been going great with her career in movies as well, as she has bagged the lead role in a Hindi film, which is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar opposite to Bollywood hunk Vidyut Jammwal.
Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in Kollywood in Suriya starrer ‘Singam 3’ directed by director Hari, is all set to return to Kollywood, not on movies, but behind the screens, as she will be composing a song, in the upcoming political comedy movie ‘LKG’ starring RJ Balaji and Priya Anand in the lead roles. ‘LKG’ is directed by debutante director Prabu and bankrolled by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International production house.
The news was revealed by RJ Balaji, in the latest episode of Shruti Haasan’s popular talk show ‘Hello Sago’. The song ‘Hey Ganguly’ is written by Pa. Vijay and the music is penned by Leon James. The track will be sung by RJ Balaji and Shruti Haasan. The film also stars Nanjil Sampath in a pivotal role and is expected to be released in February 2019.
