Actor Silambarasan who had been in a difficult phase of life for a long time finally had a break in director Venkat Prabhu’s directorial Maanadu. The entertainer enjoyed a great reception among the audience. The success of the flick has energized the actor, and the star has been busy shooting for multiple ventures. Now, we have news that the actor will be clashing with actor Vijay Sethupathi in the box office next month.
Actor Silambarasan has essayed an extended cameo role in his ex-girlfriend and actress Hansika Motwani’s upcoming film Maha. This is the first film that the duo will be seen together after their break up. This has upped the expectations on the project. Maha is poised to hit the screens on 28th of April. Actor Vijay Sethupathi’s long awaited romedy movie Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will also be making its way to the screens on the same day. Unless any last moment financial constrain pushes the release of either one of the films, both the Vijay Sethupathi and Silambarasan will be battling it out in the box office next month. It would be interesting to see who comes of as a winner.
Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is helmed by Vignesh Shivan. Apart from actor Vijay Sethupathi, actresses Nayanthara and Samantha Ruth Prabhu has played the female lead role. The casting of the flick includes Prabhu, Kala Master, Seema, Redin Kingsley, S. Sreesanth, Lollu Sabha Maaran, and Master Bhargav Sundar. Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander has handled the musical instruments for the flick. Cinematographers S. R. Kathir, and Vijay Karthik Kannan has cranked the camera. Editor A. Sreekar Prasad has trimmed the drama. Maha is directed by U R Jameel. Apart from actors Hansika Motwani and Silambarasan the film has actors Srikanth, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Chaya Singh, and Jennifer in various other supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by Ghibran while editor Sathyaraj Natarajan has edited the flick.
On the work front, actor Vijay Sethupathi who was last seen on screens in Kadaisi Vivasayi is currently busy shooting for his next Tamil drama titled Viduthalai directed by auteur Vetrimaaran in which he will be sharing the screen space with actor Soori. He is also busy shooting for his Hindi film christened Mumbaikar helmed by Santhosh Sivan, Gandhi Talks directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and Merry Christmas. Apart from these projects, the actor will have consecutive releases in the likes of Maamanithan directed by Seenu Ramasamy in which he has shared the screen space with actress Gayathrie, Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in which he will be seen alongside Fahadh Faasil, and Kamal Haasan, and his Malayalam film 19 (1) (a).
On the other hand, actor Silambarasan who is gearing up for the release of Maha is currently busy shooting for his next project titled Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu helmed by film maker Gautham Vasudev Menon in which he will be seen romancing actress Siddhi Idnani, Pathu Thala directed by Obeli N. Krishna, and Corona Kumar under the directorial of Gokul.
