Actor Kavin Raj is the recent addition to the list of small screen actors that have graduated to the silver screens and are flying to new heights. The star made his debut in Tamil cinema with his supporting part in Vikram Prabhu’s Sathriyan. Soon luck smiled at him and he went on to headline Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma crafted by Shiva Aravind. The Lift actor was last seen on screens in Star which hit the screens earlier this year under the direction of Elan. The drama was bestowed with mixed reviews from critics. The Dada actor is now gearing up for yet another release in the upcoming movie christened Bloody Beggar. Newbie film maker Sivabalan Muthukumar, erstwhile assistant of Nelson Dilipkumar has penciled and helmed the entertainer. The production house has officially announced that Bloody Beggar is slated to be out in theaters this year on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, October 31st.
The production unit has now released a special music video on social media. Taking to their official X profile, the production team dropped the music video from the flick and captioned it, “Retro is the new modern. Dive into the world of Bloody Beggar with Naan Yaar. Singer R K Hari Prasad Ramani has crooned the number. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan has written lyrics for the track. Dance master Sandy has choreographed dance moves for the song. Music composer Jen Martin has taken care of the musical department of the drama. Bloody Beggar is said to be a dark comedy drama. An intriguing poster shared recently by the team had Kavin’s head exhibited as a wall décor amid other wall décors of animal heads subjected to taxidermy. Up on release, Bloody Beggar will compete with Ajith Kumar’s Vidaa Muyarchi directed by story teller Magizh Thirumeni, Jayam Ravi’s Brother crafted by M Rajesh, and Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran helmed by director Rajkumar Periasamy in the box office.
Star cast of Bloody Beggar includes actors Redin Kingsley, T M Karthik, Miss Saleema, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukadha, Rohit Denis, Vidyuth Ravi, Arshad, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Akshaya Hariharan, Padam Venu Kumar, Anarkali Nazar, Dhivya Vikram, Mohammed Bilal, Tanuja Madhurapantula, and Vishav Raaj. Cinematographer Sujith Sarang has operated camera gears for the film. The editing division of the drama has been handed over to editor Nirmal. Art director Manimozhian Ramadurai has fashioned background for the venture. Stunt directors Action Sandhosh and Metro Mahesh have designed action blocks. Bloody Beggar is bankrolled by Nelson Dilipkumar under his newly launched production banner Filament Pictures.
On the professional front, actor Kavin Raj is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movies Kiss directed by Sathish in which he will be collaborating with actress Preethi Asrani, Mask helmed by Vikarnan Ashok in which he will be romancing actress Andrea Jeremiah, and an untitled project filmed by Vishnu Edavan in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Nayanthara.
