Actor Dhruv Vikram made his debut in Tamil cinema with the controversial movie Adithya Varma crafted by Gireeshaaya. The entertainer did not live up to the hype that it engendered. Even his sophomore project Mahaan with his father Vikram in lead did not have a good run in the box office. The actor is now focused on his next venture christened Bison hoping for a big break to take off his career. Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran of Thalli Pogathey fame will be playing the female lead role in the flick. Story credit goes to story teller Mari Selvaraj who will also be helming the film. Malayalam actor Lal will be seen in a vital part in the venture. The shooting for the drama is underway in full swing. The makers are planning to bring the film to theaters by the end of this year.
Actor Dhruv Vikram recently celebrated his birthday. As a token of love and celebration the production house has released a special poster on the occasion. Taking to his official X account, director Mari Selvaraj shared the special poster from Bison and wrote, “Wishing our dearest Dhruv Vikram the happiest birthday! The special poster has actor Dhruv Vikram holding the skull of a dead bison with its horn in front of his face. Bison is Mari Selvaraj’s fifth movie and first with actor Dhruv Vikram. Apart from Dhruv Vikram, Lal, and Anupama Parameswaran, casting unit of Bison has actors Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, and Kalaiyarasan depicting various supporting roles. Music director Nivas K Prasanna will be taking care of the musical division of the venture. This is the first time he is teaming up with Mari Selvaraj. Cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K will be operating the camera for the film. Editor Sakthi Thiru will oversee the editing department. Art director Kumar Gangappan will be designing the background for the flick. Stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan will be choreographing action blocks. The entertainer is produced by Pa Ranjith under his home banner Neelam Studios in association with Sameer Nair, Deepak Seigal, and Aditi Anand under the banner label Applause Entertainment.
On the work front, actor Dhruv Vikram will soon begin to shoot for his untitled drama which is set to be directed by Ajay Bhupathi. On the other hand, actress Anupama Parameswaran will soon be seen on screens in Lockdown helmed by A R Jeeva in which she has collaborated with actress Abhirami, and Dragon directed by Ashwath Marimuthu in which she will be seen alongside Mysskin. The actress is currently busy shooting for a couple of her Malayalam projects titled JSK Truth Shall Always Prevail helmed by Pravin Narayanan in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Suresh Gopi, Pet Detective crafted by Praneesh Vijayan, and a Telugu flick Paradha filmed by Praveen Kandregula.
