Actor Sivakarthikeyan had quite a successful outing in Amaran directed by Rajkumar Periasamy with actress Sai Pallavi in the female lead role. Actor Jayam Ravi was last seen on screens in the romantic comedy flick Kadhalikka Neramillai helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi with actress Nithya Menen as female lead. Both the superstars have teamed up for their upcoming venture Parasakthi which happens to be actor Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th project. Director Sudha Kongara, who has delivered ventures like Irudhi Suttru and Soorarai Pottru, is directing the entertainer. She has sought the assistance of writer Arjun Nadesan to pen the story of the movie. Madhan Karky, Shan Karuppusamy, Sudha Kongara, and Arjun Nadesan have worked together to write dialogues for the flick. Tollywood actress Sreeleela will be setting foot in Kollywood with her female lead role in the drama. Actor Atharvaa has also been signed in to portray a crucial role in the film.
The first schedule of shoot for the film took place in Chennai in Binny Mills, second schedule was wrapped in Chidambaram, and third happened in Karaikudi. The production team was shooting for the fourth schedule in Madurai. Now, we have news that the schedule has been completed. Story teller Sudha Kongara herself has announced the news on social media. Taking to her official X account, Sudha Kongara dropped a snap of herself with actors Atharvaa, Jayam Ravi, & her team and announced, “Meenakshi, mayil, malli, and schedule wrap in one of my most favorite places on this planet . . . Parasakthi is also the title of late legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan’s 1952 vintage classic drama. The title teaser of the film which was released recently introduced all the lead characters in style. It has created a lot of expectations for the entertainer. The shoot for the project has reached the final stage. Fifth and final schedule of shoot is planned to take place in Sri Lanka. The entertainer also has actors Dev Ramnath and Prithvi Rajan essaying vital supporting roles.
Music composer G V Prakash Kumar has been brought on board to work on the musical division of the drama. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has been behind camera for the movie. Editor Sathish Suriya has been roped in to oversee the editing department of the entertainer. Art director Shanmugaraja is engineering sets for the film. Stunt master Supreme Sundar is fashioning action moves for the venture. The drama is produced by Aakash Baskaran under the production company Dawn Pictures. Actor and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin will be bringing the film to theaters under his production company Red Giant Movies.
On the work front, presently actor Sivakarthikeyan is busy shooting for his future venture titled Madharasi directed by storyteller A R Murugadoss in which he will be seen alongside actress Rukmini Vasanth. On the other hand, actor Jayam Ravi will soon have a release in the fantasy comedy drama Genie scripted by director Bhuvanesh Arjunan in which he has co starred with actresses Krithi Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshan. The Iraivan star is currently engaged in his upcoming movies Karathey Babu helmed by Ganesh K Babu in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Shakthi Vasudevan, Nassar, K S Ravi Kumar, & VTV Ganesh, and Thani Oruvan 2 crafted by Mohan Raja in which he will be collaborating with actress Nayanthara.
