Actress Sunaina made her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the romantic psychological thriller Kadhalil Vizhunthen. The success of the flick put her in limelight right away and brought many projects her way. The Sillu Karupatti actress was last seen on screens last year in the crime thriller drama Regina helmed by Domin D Silva. The actress has not had a release this year yet. But she will soon open her account with her upcoming project Rocket Driver. Actor Vishvath has headlined the entertainer. Storyteller Sriram Ananthashankar has directed the flick. He has co written the script along with writer Akshay Poolla. Writer S Prasanth has penned dialogues for the drama. The makers are currently working to secure a release date for the project. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made in coming days.
The production house has now dropped the trailer of the film on social media. Taking to his official X handle, actor TR Silambarasan shared a poster from the flick along with a link to the trailer of Rocket Driver and worded, “Happy to launch the trailer of Rocket Driver. Two minute trailer of Rocket Driver opens to a man pressuring an old man to keep pushing his limit on a treadmill. The scene cuts to a judge in a courtroom using this as a metaphor to distraction in the workplace he says, “When you are trying to work in the office, if two people kept bickering like annoying bugs, how would you feel? Fools.” Then we have a voiceover asking Vishvath, an auto driver, “What are you now sir? Yeah, riding around in the auto all morning, giving everyone attitude, and blaming everything and everyone to be lame, right?” In a shot we witness actress Sunaina advising Vishvath, “Beyond what you and I desire, there are countless significant things in this world, Prabha. I believe you will understand that someday.”
Rocket Driver is a story about a man who aspires to be a scientist following in the footprints of former president of India APJ Abdul Kalam but fate plays its hand and he becomes an auto driver. His purposeless life gets one when he stumbles upon a stranded student named APJ Abdul Kalam who seeks to find his way back to home. Apart from Sunaina and Vishvath, the cast of Rocket Driver also has actors Naga Vishal, Kathadi Ramamurthy, Jagan, and Ramachandran Durairaj portraying various supporting characters. Music director Kaushik Krish has taken care of the musical division of the venture. Cinematographer Regimel Surya Thomas has operated cameras for the film. Editor Iniyavan Pandiyan has overseen the editing department. Art director Prem Karunthamalai has designed the background for the flick. Action director Suresh Ravi has choreographed action moves. Rocket Driver is produced by Anirudh Vallabh for his banner label Stories By The Shore.
On the work front, actress Sunaina is awaiting the release of her long-delayed venture Kathirvel crafted by story teller Venkat in which she has shared screen space with actor Ajmal Ameer.
