Sunny Leone is a magical term that enchants many youngsters in the country. The Canadian born Indian-American actress rose to fame in India after being a contestant of Hindi tv reality show Big Boss hosted by superstar Salman Khan. In the year 2014, director Saravana Rajan brought her down south to Tamil cinema, and introduced her to the Tamil audience through a sizzling item number in his film Vadacurry. The actress got paired up with actor Jai for the hot number, “Low Aana Lifeu.” Apparently, despite a middling score the song became a massive hit, and went on to register record number of views on social media. Now, nearly after 9 years the actress will be returning to Tamil cinema with her debut lead role in OMG – Oh My Ghost. The entertainer is directed by Yuvan of Sindhanai Sei fame. The project which went on floors a while back has now been done and dusted.
Now, the production unit has announced the release date of the movie on social media. OMG – Oh My Ghost will be hitting the screens on 30th of this month. With the actress bringing on a chariot to the event, the aficionados of her went wild. The trailer, later dropped in the digital space, enjoyed a great reception among the audience, and has clocked millions of views till date. Earlier talking about the entertainer to a leading media house in the state, storyteller Yuvan said, “OMG – Oh My Ghost will happen both in the ancient time and in the present. Actress Sunny Leone has done an amazing job as Queen Mayasena. She has even performed some high-octane action blocks for the movie. I am confident her fans will definitely love watching her in the role.”
Apart from actress Sunny Leone, OMG – Oh My Ghost has actors Sathish, Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Ravi Maria, Arjunan, Sanjana Singh, Tiger Thangadurai, Ramesh Thilak, G. P. Muthu, and Cook with Comali fame Dharsha Gupta in various other supporting roles. Music directors Javed Riaz and Dharan Kumar have taken care of the musical department of the entertainer. Cinematographer Deepak D. Menon has cranked the camera for the film. Editor Venkat Rajen has edited the flick. The drama is bankrolled by Veera Shakthi under the banner house Vau Media Entertainment and K Sasi Kumar for the production company White Horse Studios.
On the work front, actress Sunny Leone who had her last outing in the Telugu film industry with Ginna is currently busy shooting for a bunch of projects across multiple languages. The actress is shooting for a couple of her Malayalam dramas titled Shero under the direction of Sreejith Vijayan, and for Rangeela directed by Santhosh Nair. Apart from these films, the actress has a Tamil flick christened Veeramadevi crafted by Vadivudaiyan in which she has essayed the lead role, a Bollywood project named Helen helmed by Saurabh Choudhary, and Koka Kola scripted by T.
